There was a girl standing of the street
She was all alone with no place to sleep
As the winter night came the air grew cold
She shed a tear and shivered without control
Then something crawled up to her that was also alone
It was a small kitten shimmering, spotless, and pure
She held him with tender, loving care
The kitten fell asleep under the girls long brown hair
That was her last night on the streets London
For she went to heaven as big ben struck eleven
She saw God and asked him
“Where was the kitten that was with me last night?”
Then Jesus came and said, “Here am I.”
