Yuki didn't know what to do, other than to punch and kick, desperately trying to distract the beast and have it lose interest in Astra. He was horrified to see Poke shake his ghoulfriend in her jaws. He could see the growing damage being done to her body, to say nothing of the fae's wings.
The boil screamed at the dragon in anger, kicking at its side and stomach. It was like trying to fight a brick wall. He felt like being so much smaller didn't let him do any real damage.
With a swipe of claws, Yuki was thrown back. He cried out, startled and wounded, putting a hand to his chest. Hitting the ground, it probably would have been wise to stay down... He didn't. The ghost pushed himself up with a groan, drawing his hand back from himself to see the black, tar-like blood on his hand.
Damn...
The sickening thud of Astra's body hitting the floor brought Yuki's attention away from his own condition. "Astra!" He crawled to the nearby ghoul, trying to help her up.
HP: 11 / 30

As the world slowly came to a standstill, Astra managed to lift her head of the floor, eyes focusing on the approaching figure. Yuki was crawling towards her. The act itself troubleb her. Why wasn't he walking? But she pushed that aside, pushing herself up just enough so she could stretch out to hold out a hand, a small smile adoring her lips.
The smile vanished as Poke latched onto him with his jaws. Immediately she was up again, only to fall flat on her face as she tried to launch herself into the air, but failed. Her wings had been successfully shredded, and were unable to generate enough lift. She lifted her head once more...
To see her boilfriend crushed alive.
The sight was horrifying, her mouth hung open in a silent scream at the blood that oozed from his mouth. At his eyes losing their light.
Only to reagin them a fraction of a section later.
She reconized that blue color.
"no...."
The sight of Riley, frozen forever in stone, her arms protecting the one she loved for all of time.
"No....It can't be..."
Jericho's bright blue eyes, once a piercing gold, ignoring her complety as he flew over her, lost to the insanity.
"Please...Yuki...."
Riyo, crawling towards Deacon with the last of her strength as the fog took her as well.
And now...
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Her scream pierced the silent fog, letting lose her grief and anguish. She had failed. Yuki was gone. Just like everyone else, he had become one of those monsters. With this knowledge her mind began to crumble in a haze of misery, her screaming turning into a pitiful wailing. It didn't matter what happened now because the being that was closest to her heart was lost. She had no idea if he could be returned as Riley had, and even if he could be, his memory would be gone. The memories they had grown together over the past few months, the times they shared, all the sadness and joy...All of it was gone.
The fairy sunk to her knees, the will to continue onwards, gone.

She had not moved from her spot. Not a inch. The fairy had stayed there grieving, even when the fog began to shift in the telltale signs of another insanity monster.
Once which looked all too familiar.
At first she hadn't realized it, dully looking up to see the usual grays and piercing blue eyes. But as she continued to look at it, she began to pick out features, mainly the long dark hair, and she realized who it was.
Yuki had returned.
For a split second, Astra's features had changed into one of joy. Maybe he still knew who she was? Maybe he was still fighting off the effects of the insanity?
...Maybe he was just here to kick her a**?
She had stood up, moving forwards so she could embrace embrace him, but instead her body was captured. The fog wrapped around her like a blanket, except the cold that she felt seeped all the way to her bones. It burned leaving welting marks on her skin as icicles formed around the edges of her wings.
"Ow...Y-yuki...please stop..." she whimpered, tears welling anew which froze before they could fall down her face. She would not fight him. "It hurts..."

The fairy now appeared to be a dull blue, hypothermia taking a heavy toll on her body. She was unable to move, let alone make sense of what was happening or even were she was. The pain was ebbing away as she was sinking into the abyss that was death, not even realizing that half her ribs had been fractured under the pressure of the hold.
Slowly Astra looked up, eyes half lidded and closing fast. The last thing she saw was the bright blue eyes of the insanity creature that was Yuki. a few words were whispered from her blue lips, useless as she thought they would be. Ge was gone now, he wouldn't understand, nor care, and it was obvious in the cold stare of his eyes. Yet she said them still, as this could be the very last time she ever saw the boil. Or what was left of him, at any rate.
I love you, Yuki
The fae then fell limp, her body crumbling away in dissipation.
