It was fortunate for Kat, that she had located a partner so soon! Even if what that really meant was grabbing the person closest and dragging them along. Yep, that poor soul was Finni. Kat had yet to meet this girl, so she honestly had no idea who it was that she was bringing along with her. Luckily, she wasn't anyone bad, like a few hunters that got under her skin.
:You know, asking people, is better than just grabbing them at random. Honestly, you lack manners.: It was obvious Kat could care less about what Xedis had to say.
"I'm Kat." Grinning, she shook the girls hand, and continued on. "Not at all! Your as good as anyone else here, so why not?" It was also obvious that Kat wasn't going to be changing partners now. So it was best they just dealt with it.
"Amusing?" She turned to blink at the other sun hunter, not quite sure what it was she was on about. |

Fini snorted. Maybe this time around, things wouldn't be so terrible here? She'd never really had the chance to be partnered up with anyone...well, that wasn't either Gale or a large group mission. And, oh hell, if she had to admit it... she kind of missed having a friend. A female friend. Girl talk. And...wow she was done with that!
"No s**t. If I'm gonna get my a** kicked, at least gimme something good to do the a** kicking." She muttered, kicking at the ground. Ugh the fog was annoying. But whatever. "Whyyy does it have to be fog? Like...really? Honestly! I swear, some certain someones are watching waaaay too many old school horror films."
With a nod, Fini grinned and followed beside Kat, keeping her eyes peeled for anything...well, not unnatural, but figures that might provide a fight? "We'd better at least get some action then, so everyone else doesn't say we cheated and took the easy route!"

To that, they could agree on. If she got her a** handed to her, she would at least want it to be something of a worth opponent. "Eh, who knows? Kind of sets the mood though, don't you think? In any case, we should probably be careful. There is no telling what we're going to find here. Hopefully we can get in, observe all the crap and stuff we're supposed to, and then get out again." Did Kat hate this place? Yes, yes she did.
She had to admire Finni's enthusiasm on wanting to actually find a battle. Herself, on the other hand. didn't really like the idea of running into those damned insanity creatures as she had seen before. "Pfft, if anyone says that, then they need a kick in the jaw. The beauty of this place, is that it is random. So that means, anyone can encounter anything that might be lurking here, as well as deal with some random crap this place might throw at us as well. Personally, I just want to get this job done with. I like my missions to be in more..open areas."
This place was a little too cramped for her style. Luckily, she wasn't one of those hunters that needed extra room to swing any large weapon around. |
