Robert, please. For once. FOR ONCE.

She hadn't begged like this since the very first few days Robert had bonded with Jezebel.. and it felt kind of good. That was.. probably why she didn't beg for it anymore. But in this case, he didn't have the luxury of holding back. His shield was low, and he was feeling each hit far too hard. He wouldn't last much longer.

So he rose Jezebel up above his head, tilted the hold forward, and started to spin.

Her screams were only for him, for too long. Even as she cried out, Robert's spin got faster, and faster, until Jezebel was nothing but a blur, a circle that glowed and hissed with sound and light.

Rather quickly, Jezebel's scream became audible, and the beam of light burned the ground he stood on, leaving him in that warm spotlight. He stopped the spin and flung all of the energy she'd built up, sending that bright, painful light and ear-piercing scream directly at the Zarfog. He could deal with her for a while. Robert was sick of it.

The blast missed, but it set the fog rippling all over again, making Zar stop in his tracks and snarl at the sun hunter.

Motion in the corner of his eye drew his attention and he turned to look at Robert, yellow eyes narrowing in instinctual irritation, everything just made him angrier, teeth bared in the most animalistic sort of way, tail lashing gouges in the mist.

He wasn't expecting the sound and light, enough to freeze him dead in his tracks, a swirl of confusion overtaking the drive for home for just a few drawn out moments.

The beast was not hindered in his relentless search for home. Quite the opposite, really, as the mists seemed to gather around giving it a second wind to charge the two hunters again. It smashed past Leon to seize Robert in it's jaws and shook him violently like a ragdoll.

There- The creature was right in his sight, perfect for a clear shot, he could feel the Fear radiating from Roar, begging to be released- but the dog like apparition suddenly charged, barreling ********-" He breathed, shifting upright as his shot ripped through the foggy sky and he was running at Nuru, Roar tucked under his arm as he grabbed Robert by his legs, "DROP IT. BAD DOG, AWOOWOOWOO-" His brain was spinning, and somehow, he felt this would work.

The moment Robert can ripping free, they toppled, and he did his best to try to drag the Lifer back, "LEON hold them off! Robert- Robert, are you awake? s**t s**t s**t do you have bandages? We can take these things down, just fall back-" He tried not to register the blood.

It wasn't looking too good. Leon watched with a sly grin as Robert decided to dazzle one of the shadowy creatures with his personality, and his weapon of course. While the other one didn't seem to take it kindly. he let out a cry of surprise as the wolf pushed past him. "hey where do you think you're going?" he hollered out and tried to swing the saw at it. and the arc missed it by a large gap. going wide and causing the hunter to spin around and topple to the floor.

carrying a large weapon that demanded constant strength and control while trying to fight to survive. he knew where his limits lie, and it was quickly reaching that point. "Might need some help over here!" Leon managed to rasp out. The pendant was already grasped tightly in one hand.


Just in case he couldn't hold them off anymore like Jerry asked.

[Nio Love]

There were no words to describe the sensation of being picked up in the fangs of a giant dog, and flung around like a chewtoy. He heard bones breaking just to compensate for the movement. When he was finally pulled out of Nuru's mouth, Robert was a pretty limp chewtoy, as most chewtoys were. His shield was gone, and he could feel the warmth of blood leaking out of wounds where the fangs had managed to sink deep into his skin to hold him tight.

There was one in particular at his side that felt like it was burning. Robert used the arm that didn't feel broken, to pull out a band-aid from his little packet in his pocket, and slap it right on the gushing wound.

"I think that mother ******** had rabies."

Things seemed to be going badly for the obstacles.

This was pleasing so much as things could be pleasing to the insanity possessed creature any longer.

He could go home.

Leon was attacked for trying to pick up his comrade and then Zar got right back to attacking his main target, the one with the colourful fire.

Nuru was less picky about his targets, simply chasing after them in their retreat. It continued its vicious onslaught of those who stood in the way of home. He couldn't understand the noises they made during their retreat, but he dully registered them as a challenge... a challenge to his home.

Its teeth would ensure such a threat would not come to fruition.

Jerry staggered back, canon up and at the ready as he somehow managed to stay on his feet, despite the claws and fangs that were thrown their way. Robert lay unconscious and bleeding.

"We... we're out powered-" His hands shook on the trigger, glancing to his side as Leon was sent tumbling. "Get.... GET HIM OUT OF HERE," He roared to the boxer. "BOTH OF YOU. OUT OF HERE. I'll hold them off!"

He still had a bit more Fear shield left... he could still cause some damage...

Planting his feet, he drew in a deep breath, and as he pulled the trigger, he howled along side his weapon.

Leon felt his body spasm as he fell to the floor, the chainsaw rattled and hopped around on its own before it settled on desummoning back to its owner, and the boxer could not hear the dragon grumble about the horrible meal he was provided with. But at least he was awake, the thin film of his fear shield, shattered into slivers and fell away into the mist. They didn't make a sound as they fell as far as he could tell.

It was alot better than his fellow life hunter that lay on the floor, the only sign that Robert was alive is the slow rise and fall of his chest cavity. He himself was just there on the floor, ribs felt broken, multiple lacerations all over and his clothes were tattered from the claws that refused to stop. Leon could feel the steady thump of his blood fill his ears, flooding his senses with the fact that he was still alert and the sounds of jerry calling, demanding to get Robert out brought the boxer back, blinking and conscious of what was going on was dangerous and needed action.

"Un... understood!" he gritted out, there was no time to act macho about it, he'd listen to the request as he slid his body toward robert. Inch by inch until he felt his hand connect with the mans side and on shaky legs, carry him on his back.

"Jerry, you getter get out of this or by God, I won't forgive you!" he roared back at the sun Hunter

"You hear me Jerry?!" he continued, barking into the air around him. "Jerry? JERRY!"

((Robert and Leon have exited to Hunter relief Camp))

Zar looked on in satisfaction as two of the creatures in his way made their escape, he did not pursue them, there was no reason to - they no longer presented a threat to reaching home.

All that remained was the last one, armed with his fire shooter.

With a hiss and a ripple through the fog, Zar leapt into action, closing the distance in a few large strides, before with a punishing swipe of his claws, he attempted to finish the last stretch of Jerry's shield off.

There was just enough standing in the way of home for the beast to join in the beautiful slaughter. It bit down on whatever it could fit it's mouth around and could feel with a distant satisfaction as the sheild burst and gave way to flesh.

It would be sorry if it had the capability to be sorry anymore. But it does not, not anymore.

It swung its head around to toss the barrier away like it was nothing anymore. No longer an obstacle in the way of HOME.

Jerry stood his ground as Leon scrambled back, his shouts dim in his mind as he took aim.... "AWOO-WOO-" Before he could fire, though, the winged creature sent him tumbling. He tucked and rolled, landing in a crouch as the old wound in his knee screamed in pain.

It was in his head, it was in his head, he repeated, his aim shaking as he tried to haul Roar up again but by the time he squinted through the quill-sight, all he saw were jaws rushing at him.....

And then blackness.

HP: -10 (and thank god for the nullifying rule on that one lol)

He was not conscious as hands scraped him up. But when he would awaken in the infirmary tent some time later, he'd be sporting some fresh scars.
