I wasn't going to read this book at first, really. I kept hearing about it on the radio from a couple of talkshow hosts saying they heard it was pretty good - this was when it first came out - but I just brushed it aside since it sounded weird to me. Then it started popping up everywhere near where I lived, then my best friend borrowed it from her boyfriend's mom to read it. Of course, being a good friend, I "borrowed" it from her for a little while then gave it back since I had nothing else to do emotion_awesome .
Overall the book was okay to a certain level. But there were a few things that bugged me. First of all the main character annoyed me, and I can't really explain why. It's more like one of those feelings you can never explain. Then I kept getting confused and had to go back to make sure I read it right. Several times. I think the book got battered somewhere in between the process of reading it *coughcough* because I couldn't stand it.
Anywho~, this is just my personal opinion about it. I hope I'm not insulting anyone who likes it, so please don't take it personally =w=;. I didn't really care for it. At all. It just sorta bugged me, and by the time I got to the end, I got a little bit more annoyed. Maybe it's because I'm not into that sort of stuff, but it just seemed... odd. But I wouldn't mind reading the next two books to see what would happen out of curiosity.
