 gaia_crown Most Gaians are between 14-20, so this probably isn't a topic that most would understand. Kitten is in the process of divorce and it's kind of confusing. She was really upset and confused at the beginning and cried almost every day, begging her husband to stay. After a while, she became depressed and confused as to why all of this was happening. As of today she has come to the point where she hates him and never wants to see him again.
To start this off, Kitten's husband and her have been together dating and then married for a total of six years. He was Kitten's first real crush, her first real boyfriend, her first kiss and her first love. The relationship had its ups and downs like all do, but mostly ups. Everything went well until they decided to get married back in 2010. Kitten did not want marriage, but after much begging from her boyfriend, Kitten finally agreed. This made her depressed and she started having life issues and after the marriage, broke down.
Kitten's boyfriend started cheating on her eight months into the marriage and denied everything. He said he was just friends with the person, which everyone around him including Kitten, knew was a lie. He spends most of his day having sexual roleplays with her or playing around with her on Facebook. Not to mention that he will not even add Kitten to his Facebook because he told his girlfriend that he was divorced even while Kitten and him were still married. He denied ever wanting the marriage even though it was his idea from the very beginning, so Kitten didn't even bother arguing. He also still claims that they are just friends which will never be true.
So, today Kitten noticed that he commented on one of his girlfriend's profile pictures. It's just a picture of her eating funnel cake like an animal with powder sugar up to the bottom of her eyes. She looks stupid, but his comment somehow sent off something. It was just "I love funnel cake", but who doesn't? The problem is one of the happiest memories Kitten has of her and him is them when they were teens at the local Strawberry Festival, splitting funnel cake and then throwing powdered sugar at each other like children. Just one tear rolled down Kitten's cheek and then she felt this burning hatred inside her the put out the love, and all emotion, for him. Now she doesn't even want to see him again and can't wait for this divorce to be final.
The only lasting effects from this are the fact that she'll be homeless if she can't get a job soon and she only has $400 left to her name. She is staying at a family members since she had to leave her place of residence do to an issue with her soon-to-be-ex's family. The family member is old and can't deal with other people and her husband just died, so she has a total of three months to get on her feet again or be cast out. One month down, over one-hundred job applications and only one interview that has yet to equal a job. Her ex-husband is in the exact same situation, which is his own fault. He'll hopefully see that tossing Kitten out of the home like that and making her lose her stable income hurt everyone, including himself.
Kitten would just like some ideas on how to find a source of income, traditional or non-traditional, and any hugs that can be thrown her way. As for assistance, she has already been denied for all forms of assistance seeing as she doesn't have even a low-income job. Trying to make it by in tough situations is rather hard, but Kitten knows she'll somehow pull through. gaia_crown |

*Hug* Er, you might want to try working at a grocery store that's nearby. Their standards are super easy to meat, ESPECIALLY if it's a large chain. The wages are enough to get a little apartment, depending on where you live. You'll have to budget a lot though, so you won't have much spending money. Try to save up a lot of money, and if you like animals, go into Animal Grooming. Animal Grooming is a very profitable business, and it's good for animal lovers. I'd suggest Dog grooming, though, because most people who get their animals groomed are dog owners, as cats groom themselves.

She really wasn't even thinking about that until you mentioned it. She has applied mostly at restaurants, movie theaters, local cafes and chain stores like WalMart. She already applied at the pet grooming places and pet stores in the area though. cat_sweatdrop

XxAriaxX You would need a job ... I don't know why you say ''so job is not required''. Do you mean that after you moved you'll need a job? Did you ever worked before? Make a budget.. Income = XXX Expenses = XXX includes all expenses : rent, internet, cellphone, food... Adjust your expenses when you know how much you spend on each category and preferably adjust in a way that you can save a bit of money. Savings are important for urgent , unexpected situation. gaia_crown Kitten won't need a job until she moves now. She's always had a set budget and the savings was already used when her ex became unemployed. gaia_crown |
