Marco entered the battle with Leviamon right behind him. His menacing aura was enough to give anyone chills, but his opponent wasn't just anyone. He was a Dark Tamer with a Demon Lord of his own, Marco would be basing a tough match with him. Marco took a deep breath, he hated getting this close to the darkness, but he could not run away. All he could do was shield his eyes with a dark colored cloth, a pathetic attempt to distance himself from the darkness, but even with his vision blurred he could still see and feel. "Okay let's get this over with..." Marco took out his digivice as his hand glowed with a dark aura...

A blue colored ring was shot towards the Daemon as it closed around its neck. Leviamon grinned as he waited in the back guarding himself for whatever his fellow Demon Lord might try throwing at him. He was forced to attack after all so he would need to brace himself for the incoming attacks.

Marcus would stand in front of both the tamer and his digimon with a smirk. "Ah... sot the devil that possesses you shows his face, eh? Well then... meet mine as well!" Marcus's shadow would extend far behind him and the demon lord known as daemon would erupt from within, firing a deathly gust at his "brother."



The demon lord of wrath would sport off the gift of a ring that was originally meant for Leviamon, but would continue to attack all the same. It would seem that the show would have to wait.

Leviamon groaned as the wind slapped at his face, but right before the wind made contact he used his large two tails to cover Marco. The Dark Tamer did not feel too much of the attack just a ominous wind. He didn't thank the demon nor did he show his appreciation, they both knew the only reason he protected him was so that he could use him later. They made a contract, they needed each other.

With the Curse Ring activated and Leviamon's power lowered, Leviamon would need some time gather enough energy to restore his power. They would need to play the waiting game. Marco could not see Marcus' demon, but he already knew who it was, he could feel it. "So this is what a battle between two Dark Tamers is like...Marcus, why did you join this side?" Marco questioned, there was nothing else left for him, but hear an explanation. Were their reasons the same or were they different?

Leviamon glared at "brother" Wrath, he needed to be patient.

Marcus would glance over at the other tamer, taking in his question and then replying. "Obviously because that's where the power is! Right, Granville?"

The daemon would be silent but the flames of wrath would burn around him, feeling the area with a summer-like heat. He would then punch at the beast with a fiery fist.

Marco glared at Marcus angered by his reply. "You sold your soul for power?" Marco was then shoved back as Leviamon and Daemon clashed. Daemon's fist connected with Leviamon's jaws and he stumbled back in pain. Marco backed away from the battlefield as the two demons were surrounded by flames. He panted, but then glanced at Marcus, he couldn't agree with something like power, but the reason he made a pact with Leviamon was because he wasn't strong enough to stop the leviathan. However, he would stop this beast.

A giant obelisk rained down on the battlefield. Leviamon grinned as he grabbed the obelisk with its jaws. He charged at Daemon and stabbed the obelisk into his brother's arms. He then backed away, he wasn't read to attack yet, but this would temporarily hinder his opponent.

"Heck... why not?! I'm not using it..." The tamer would call upon his gray colored digisoul that would engulf him like an evil flame. "My one goal is to make everyone fall before my power and if it costs me my soul... then so be it." He would then point at Marco as if he were going to be the next of his targets. "You're going to be next, GRANVILLE MAKE THEM BLEED!!"

The demon lord would punch through the Leviamon's spire, sending debris of the monolith flying towards the leviathan of a digimon. GET THAT HUNK OF JUNK OUTTA HERE!"

"Surely you didn't think I was one of those sorry saps that had was forced to take the dark side to save someone, did you?"

Marco was at a loss of words, so this was the real Marcus. Twisted as he was, he didn't expect him to be this twisted or clique. However, his response now made it easy for him to continue this battle. He would not hold back trying to stop him even if he was his friend.

Leviamon glared at Daemon, his eyes glowing as if hypnotizing the demon of Wrath into following his command. "Surround yourself with endless fire..." Leviamon ordered.

Daemon would raise both of his hands like a mad conductor and would whisper a demonic hymn that would cause a chorus of fire and heat to erupt from the area around him. He would then point them towards Leviamon. "Perish in the heat of my music!"

"End my madness?! Ha... you will be engulfed by it!"

Leviamon was not fazed by the fire created by Daemon, it would not hurt him unless he made an attack. This fire was both a blessing and a curse for both demon lords. Daemon was forced to attack and each strike not only hurt Leviamon, but hurt himself. Leviamon could take the punishment and he would enjoy watching his brother burn in his own fire. Leviamon stumbled back, only a little more and his attack would begin.

Marco shield his eyes from the sudden burst of fire, even if he couldn't see he could feel the immense heat from the fire. Marco grabbed the cloth around his eyes and took them away. He stared at Marcus with his red eyes as the symbol of Envy appeared on his forehead. "I won't close my eyes from the truth anymore..."

"You're own power will be the end of you, Marcus! Don't you realize that?" Marco shouted as the symbol on his forehead glowed brighter.

Leviamon's eyes widen as they begin to glow. He roared and opened his mouth wide as a thick poisonous gas was released from his mouth heading towards Daemon.

Daemon would begin humming to himself and he conducted the flames to dance and sing a most dreadful tone of death.

Marco caught the concert ticket with one hand. He stared at the piece of paper and then looked back at Marcus. "This is the end," his Envy sign glowed once more. Leviamon grinned, he was finally read to attack. He roared as he charged forward, pushing pass the wall of fire to strike Daemon. He dragged the demon's body, his jaws biting down on its body threatening to slice him in half. "You are nothing, brother! Now fall under my power!" He closed down his jaws and then opened them one more, "Anima!"
