"It doesn't always have to be literal", Ezekiel remarked and turned to Myra. He listened carefully as she explained where the portals led, taking notes in his head. He nodded slightly and praised her, "Quite good organization... For a new blood" He snickered at his own joke before returning to a more poised demeanor. He looked a little more welcoming now though that he did a few seconds ago.
"Then I presume you know very well where they go" Ezekiel commented. He also looked a little dignified at the moment like a respected gourmet or the sort. Somehow, one would think they looked like very dignified gods chatting casually in a godly domain. This easily was broken when Ezekiel flashed a Cheshire grin and said to Myra, "Shan't we go on an adventure?!" He half-shouted the last part, grabbing Myra by the wrist and dragging her along as he ran straight into one of the portals like a madman escaping with a bag of gold.

"It doesn't? So says the man whose realm is literally an incohesive muck of dreams." Myra snarked almost light-heartedly, just before the trouble would start. The moment Ezekiel started talking of where the portals went Myra knew that she was in for trouble. She should have kept her mouth shut or lied about where they went. She tried to stop him, tried to hault their entrance into a random portal to no avail. They normally only went to a certain location when one had the proper keystone to it - which was always obtained through difficult or otherwise tiresome rituals - each portal having its own unique ritual and keystone. The one Ezekiel pulled her through normally lead to one of her larger temples in the human world - but since neither of them had the keystone - wherever they landed up would be completely random. It was also guaranteed that wherever they ended up would be a largely dangerous and tiresome place in Myra's eyes.

They did in fact end up in a troublesome and dangerous place.It was also a large shrine for Myra but this was not a place of nobility and blood relations. It was a place where ruffians spilled blood on a daily basis. It was indeed a perilous city characterized by its shady dealers, quick snatchers and brutal hit people. The city was haunted with sacrilege and disrespect - chaos. Both gods were sent tumbling and crashing into this temple where recently was the sacrifice of a lamb, the rotting smell still filling the enclosure even after days after the offering was stolen. A keystone would have made the trip more stable though. Ezekiel raised himself to his feet, beginning to admire the place with much curiosity. He had realized where they were with a nod of the head and a playful smile gracing his lips. He knew this place and he knew that it was chaos. And in his mind, it was simply lovely. The capacity for much beauty that human beings had was ever so present here, and so was the violence that he abhorred in them. "What do you think?", he asked his companion as no humans were around at the moment.

Myra looked absolutely horrified, as if she were about to gag at the sight of things. The sight of the sacrifice to her, one of the many small contributions that gave her power, did not help any. This place was entirely devoid of order, let alone any sense of familiarity for the goddess. "I think that you're a fool." Her words were followed by a small pause before she continued, "Oh, you mean this wretched hive of scum and villainy? It's disgusting. So disorganized, so unpredictable." Another beat. "It suits you well." She was a little mad about being dragged along, clearly.

"Why thank you", Ezekiel turned to Myra with an amused expression and a mischievous grin. He looked almost angelic as he closed his eyes for a bit. The godly luminescence he had wore off and his pale white hair turned into a more 'human' light blond. His grey eyes turned to a shade of blue. His outfit as well was transformed into a gray tunic characteristic for mortals around the area to wear, only a little more extravagant than what was normally seen. He opened his eyes and smiled at Myra again. " 'Tis but beauty that thwarts beauty", he said to her as he turned to leave the temple. He finished softly, "Come now. We don't want to miss out on the fun"

{I apologize for not posting sooner.}
Aside from the markings on Myra's skin, she already looked plenty human as it was so there was no need for her to use magic she had yet to fully understand. (And her markings didn't matter much anyway, as she could simply claim them to be tattoos.) All she had to do was follow the man about and make sure that he didn't cause too much trouble amongst mortal kind. "If I must." was the only reply she bothered to give for the moment being, speaking in just as soft a tone as he.

The inside of the temple smelled of blood. The outside had the stench of garbage and intermingled bodily odors. It was absolutely repulsive but it did not matter. Ezekiel seemed to get lost in the masses as he wandered forth. He looked back and held Myra's hand firmly, pulling her along. "The mortal realm. The place of those who give us power. Isn't it simply dazzling?", he said in a passionate voice as they came close to a nearby tavern.
