I can offer up Marcus who is mostly just :T towards halloween. He doesn't know much but he knows the basics.
Solia is deathie who is... LOL just wanting to help everyone she could be potentially misleading without meaning to? As deathie needs weapon candidates and she'd learn about cores at some point. IDK She's RLY versatile. PLUS SUP MORT YUR GF IS DA BEST OvO

id be happy to throw in ami if you'd like someone very antagonist. she literally has 0 sympathy to give halloweeners, and will CRUSH U LIKE BUGSSS.
so yeah, ami could be used if you want someone to make the hunters look really really mean 8DDD
also ying would like to help cure lan of her insanity, so helping mort would juts be a stepping stone in the process

Update!
Zoo's okay'd the background to the first adventure, so I'll be working on making the mechanics and stuff for the peeps to stumble around in. The first adventure is slated to start around early February (after 7 Kings so people don't burn out between two concurrent events), so in the meantime I'm open to having Mort meet people he might not know already or that just need a lead in to the plot that they wouldn't otherwise; if you know someone who's posted that would be better suited (ie. news traveling by word of mouth), that's fine too! (Just let me know they're gonna know so I don't accidentally bug you)
The first adventure will be Charon's Lair for reference, as Medea sends the group on a sort of "test" to see if they're really willing to find this supposed artifact for Insanity. : DD Imagine DnD Lite tailored to Gaia's dice system. There will be a chance to grab small useful items as well as ones you can possibly derive plot/artifact worthy quests of your own should your character find it and should you choose to move forward with it. Also status effects~

CHRISTOF NEEDS MORE SCIENCING WITH MORT IJS He's done only a little Core Research but he and Barth have been researching possible ways to de-weaponize for a while now O: (Haven't made too much progress.... sloths. XD ) His expertise is punching things and mechanics and Mort has an Igor at his disposal if you ever need! <33
