wow i'm not even american. In fact i'm canadian and taking a health care course to work with children and teens with physical and mental illness and this really bugs me to no end. It's not fair this needs to stop just because they are special needs or gifted for that matter doesn't mean they don't have a life or choice like everyone else. Rrrrrr i can't express this anymore without going crazy.

(( i would sign the petition but i don't know how))

you have to sign up for an account, then you hit the "i sign" button or whatever it says. emotion_yatta
there's also a verification code sent to your email which you need to use. they'll also give you a password, which you can change once you log in.

you're very welcome. I love helping when i can and this is a field i'm very passionate about. Considering i am taking a health care course to become a community health worker and this is a learning disability that we are responsible for providing support to.

(( if you ever want to talk or RP please PM me or add me thanks.))

actually, autism (all types- pdd-nos, aspergers, etc.) is more of a social skills disability, if that makes sense? but that's pretty cool!
and yeah, it sucks that there's not a lot of accommodations and all that for people with disabilities, doesn't it?

i'm not saying i'm a doctor, nurse or specialist but i'm just going off of what i learnt through my health care books. And ya it kind of makes sense because they have difficulties interacting socially and it's a genetic disorder. If you want i could explain to you what it is in more detail. And ya especialy the unites states not meaning to trash your country but gifted children/ families are not being accepted the same way as a gifted family in canada. We take people in regardless of wether they have physical or mental disabilities we are still human/families and deserve a healthy life.

nah, i have a fair grasp on what it is, i'd say. thanks though! ^^
yeah, the u.s. isn't the greatest that's true.
and actually, that's not exactly true- canada has been known to deny a family the ability to immigrate because someone in the family has autism.
