Yeah that part got me to, no interest really to follow them in future pursuits. But again it's probably just a standardized saying. What could they have said instead? 'Please don't join us in any of our future games'?

Companies shut down non-profitable lines all the time. Restaurant City recently closed on facebook which got me upset too but EA/Playfish is still going on.

All-in-all that message didn't particularly surprise me considering that i never had a warm fuzzy feeling from the staff. Everything with impartial and businesslike.

Will still miss the place tho D:

I think I'd go with something more humble. It's not at all unexpected that they would say something like that though.
= u= I miss Restaurant City. I love Playfish. Mad that EA bought them out. They keep buying out all these cool little companies = A= and take credit for their games.

I just got on to see it today, kind of a bummer really. Though it does look like Dreamselfy is still running , which is great to see. Think I'll miss the avatars the most, playing dress up with your selfy was the best time consuming thing to do
