so I got a question.... o no
if I take some the gaia's manga and draw it in my style but everything else is the same

would I get in trouble?
it's only for fun... and i guess to practice D8

And it should be okay as long as you explain that it's supposed to be exactly the original, but done in your style. If you explain that, people will understand and that tends to be socially acceptable. I've copied pieces before, but gave all rights to the original piece.
