He drew back into the shadows of the alley with a tight grimace. His eyes jumping from faekat to faekat. The evening had finally settled, but the crowds were still thick and Sirius hadn't found anyone worth questioning. There were plenty of smiles, frowns, hugs and other exchanges of emotion. Sirius had remained untouched by any of it. The loving gestures of the couples or the low growls between enemies...none of it swayed him emotionally.

Which is why it fascinated him so much.

How could perfectly intelligent souls act insanely for something like love? Jealousy? Hatred? None of it made sense, but he thoroughly enjoyed watching his own subjects from day to day to try to understand their actions.

Now he stood, empty handed, after a long day of trying to find a new subject to study. He let out a short breath as he shifted his weight onto his heels.

White arms cloaked in red sleeves slid around the other vampires shoulders in an embrace. Long brunette hair ticked against his back and shoulders as red painted lips whispered into the other's ears. "Looking for someone?" came the soft, feminine whisper. Lady Isabelle smiled and released the male. Taking a step back, her dress swished about her legs as she gave him another once over. She had observed him for quite some time without him noticing. He kept to the shadows and watched all the mortals passing to and fro in their daily lives. He'd been at it for almost a full day now, and she couldn't help but tease him a bit for it.

Her approach hadn't surprised him. He had half expected to be spotted at some point by something. He half turned his head to glance over his shoulder to her. The corner of his mouth twitched up into a smirk upon seeing the beautiful vampire. Vampires were typically known for keeping to themselves, her boldness was impressive.

He turned on his heels to face her and subtly tilted his head to the side while looking over her.

"I had been. It's been a long day watching them. Clearly I've wasted a day upon them."

"Clearly. After all, it's no fun to merely watch. You have to join in the revelry to fully enjoy their experience," Isabelle couldn't help but twirl around as if dancing. It was ever so much fun to take part in the parties the mortals threw, and when the climax had come and gone it was nice to have a tasty treat to leave with. "So, who or should I say what are you looking for? If it's something to drink, then I don't believe you'd take so long to find it." Isabelle quirked her head to the side, her hands clasped behind her back, and leaning forward ever so slightly. This male rather interested her.
