Humans have grown beyond their resources.

They will go exinct at the rate they're going.

They have taken up weapons against the natural cycle of life, fighting to remain at the top of a food chain where they don't belong.

If we do not begin to fix this, we will follow suit.

The law will kill us all.

The boogeymen will not save us.

They clean up messes and work to keep the general populace from panicking at the expense of good people and heros - martyrs perhaps. The laws were made without our own slaughter as a true consideration - slaughter that our own kind endorse and side with the humans on. We are wrong because humans only die once - because we are sturdy. But are we truly?

Insanity.

Weaponization.

What comes next? We have not possibly faced the worst thing that could come upon Halloween. If humans render themselves extinct by using up their own resources, then what will we do? We will turn upon each other to gain the FEAR we require to live - and from there even worse can happen.

Maybe it won't happen.

But will you risk your own survival on that?

Shehk has grown wary of losing the things she cares about because of Hunters and Boogeymen. While Boogeymen are not whole-ly to blame, she does hold them accountable for what happened to Red - and does not trust them as a whole. In fact, she's not sure if she trusts Red either. Just like she is not sure if she considers Riley to be 'her' Riley and she will not even start on how she feels about Jericho. (In fact, if you ask her about him she will stare at you until you change the subject)

With things like insanity and weaponization happening, there is little that can be done... legally.

Humans kill each other. Humans fight over limited resources. Humans hoarde their resources and use them as leverage over others. There are more of them than can be sustained for the long term. On the other side of things, while 'FEAR' is a renewable resource, things such as Insanity have left her wondering: Is getting something the easy way really the safest thing for all of us? If we, as Halloween - not Initiates, not Horsemen - were to go out into the human world and begin a careful culling to cut out the cancer, would this re-establish the food chain where humans truly knew the fear they should?

It is time to take back the food chain - for the sake of both Humans and Halloween.

Shehk's goals are simple: Gather a group of Halloween individuals who are willing to break the law to establish a new flow of FEAR to Halloween at the cost of human lives - for their own good. In human terms, this would be considered a genocide.

However, she will be picking her 'criteria' carefully: Those with more resources than they require and those who abuse others. By no means is this a 'save the humans' goal: more resources to go around generally just means their food supply will live longer.

However, they will be having to avoid the eyes of Hunters and Halloween Law to achieve this. Therefore, Shehk will be very careful with who she recruits to this - making sure they're in it for the long haul and won't betray her.

Is this plot OK'd?
I got the go ahead from Zoo to do this. Albeit I'll be paranoidly checking things with the admin as we go along.

So what are you actually looking for?
1. Denizens of Halloween who are willing to join her. These can be Students, Graduates, or Citizens! However, know that her judgements will be made ICly and not everybody will be welcomed with open arms unless she can guarantee their silence should things go sour.

2. Anybody who thinks they have a plot that can springboard off of this one!

3. Seriously, throw stuff at me. My guidelines are very loose ATM.

I have a different question.

Then by all means ask me. I love answering questions (sometimes. Other times they make me curl up and cry).

... Weirdly enough I think Malodore might go for this if Shehk can convince it. I can't see it actually fighting/killing but it could tidy up injuries sustained in the fight and also observe the effects of their efforts. If that sounds like something you might be interested in, a sort of behind-the-scenes support that is largely neutral but curious...

(I also like this idea because it mirrors what SevenKings!Mal did for its kingdom hu hu hu)

I am extremely interested in this plot, and I think very soon Seiji will be in a place where this will seem like a good, and necessary, plan.

The idea wouldn't likely occur to him naturally without a little bit of promoting, but if given even something tiny to go off of he'd be on board.

I'm considering Freya for this, if you wanted her? It's hard to say where she'll be when this starts, so can I put her down for a maybe? <3 Cos she's pretty ******** up right now and I've always seen her as a potential law breaker.
