I hate when my family tries to make my house work be like the kind of thing that I would do at work.
I KNOW I have to do an effective job cleaning.
I always do in BOTH places.
Home & Work are 2 completely different things.
Home: People know their responsibilities and they know better than to be raging douchebags. They KNOW what I CAN and CANNOT do and will not ask me to do something that I obviously can't do.
Work: The customer is always right and you can't argue. If you can't help them, get someone that can.
I also ALREADY hate how(Today will only be day 3 of work for me) as soon as I get home or right before I have to leave, it's "Do this really quick!"
"Do this really quick!" turns into "Help me with these." which turns into "Can you put this there for me please?"
Then before I know it, I'm cleaning half of the house before I leave.
I don't mind my job. Really, I don't.
But when people at home are stressing you out on a daily basis, it's hard to deal with crap.
I live with my grandfather who has dementia and my grandmother who can't do much, but is always SO desperate to push every little bit of housework onto me.
I can't even fully clean the house because there's SO much junk in it!
I'll say something about the den and how it's cluttered to hell then my grandfather says "Do something about it instead of talking about it!"
Where I say "Number ONE, If I could get in there I would. Number TWO, EVERYTHING in there is yours. So I'd imagine that YOU would want to get in there. You say that 95% of the stuff in there is good. But it's in there because it NEVER gets used, so get rid of it!"
But of course he doesn't listen to reason.
This house is his and it's mainly "What he says goes."
Point of this rant:
Fear that my performance at work may suffer due to the stress of home.
(No one has to reply. I just REALLY needed that rant out. X3)
