((The good thing about my current class is how easy it is to ******** around online without getting caught. Hell, I've got Gaia, tumblr, and friggin Hearstring Bugs going at the moment. XD ))
"So whee, grand adventure!" There was the sarcasm again. "Where are we going, and please tell me I'll get to kill something along the way."

{Damn, that kicks a**. Congrats! biggrin }
"Daurim." Erfina answered in a casual manner. If Kai knew anything about geography beyond his domain, which she doubted, he'd know that Daurim was nowhere near here. It was a purely elvish country that was currently being tormented by a wicked lich and his forces. A wicked lich that was once a sorcerer of some sort. (As Erfina recalled, he was reaaally boring and kind of bad in bed in real life.) "Yes, you'll get to kill plenty. As often as I joke, that's what I was hoping to recruit you for."

"Well at least you're not completely stupid. I'd be pissed off if my skills went to waste." Kai huffed as he blew a little puff of smoke out.

"Have you ever met an elf before? Can you speak their language?" Erfina asked, somehow feeling like she already knew the answer. Like she would have to play the role of translator the entirety of the time Kai was in Daurim.

"I'm older than I look you know." Kai said rolling his eyes. "I've been around long enough to pick up multiple languages, at least the ones worth learning. Not like anyone gives a s**t about orcish after all."

Erfina laughed. She'd be surprised it she did meet any non-orc blooded individual who could speak it. Nevertheless, she decided to try and test Kai's understanding by speaking her native language instead of just using common. "<That is good! You should not need me to serve as your official translator in that case.>"

Erfina looked pleased. No, she was grinning from ear to ear and just couldn't stop. "<Depends on what dialect they use.>" she admitted, walking along for a few more moments before making any further commentary. "<You're pretty funny.>" Not just because of his freak outs and temper, but also because he could speak the language so perfectly yet he couldn't honestly tell an elf when he saw one.

"" Kai explained easily.
((And yes, that odd question Erfina has about him? I already have background to explain it all away. 8D And no, you don't get to know yet. =P))

{Awesome. XD I'm looking forward to when it's unveiled.}
"<In that case, I probably will need a translator. I've only heard the butchered stuff you'd get from half-assed adventuring scholars who mix in their own language and make base assumptions.>" Pretty much like any other tv archaeologist you see.

"<You dragons are very mischevious creatures.>" Erfina commented, seeming rather pleased by the fact. Immensely so. It kind of reminded her of herself and what she would do, if she were a dragon in that very situation.
