It was one of the last months of senior year in highschool when I, my best friend, and a guy friend of ours were entering this academic contest. Science, Math, English and Random Facts were its categories, and we had to battle as a group.
While we were all equally adept at those fields, there was a tiny problem amongst my friends' relationship: They were not on speaking terms for a long time.
So, when they were actually working together, as friends, it made me really happy that they were starting to be friends again. It made me happier that because of this, we won 1st place.
