Prerequisites:
- Must complete beginner first aid successfully
- Must be Y2 or higher!

General information: This goes into using another individuals FEAR to heal them – thus promoting their own system to fix it.

The healing dummies have returned! However, this time it seems like Nurse Cricket has done a little bit worse to them than she did before, some of them being cut into rather deeply, and others bearing strange discolorations. The only explanation she really gives is that she put her ‘touch’ on them.

Which you really don’t want to know much more about.

“There is FEAR in those dummies. What I’d like you to do with them is draw their FEAR to the surface to pull away the injury that has been given them. This is an effective way to heal without tiring yourself out.” From the way Cricket explained it, it sounded like this was what a lot of her job consisted of.

“What you need to do,” she begins to go into more detail on what she expects, “is clean the area of contact. Once you’ve done that, use your FEAR to pull at the FEAR of the dummy. If you’ve ever been healed by me, hold onto that feeling from when I make contact. They feel quite similar and you’ll find your balance from that.”

For those who hadn’t been healed by Cricket before…? WHELP. She wasn’t about to demo any further than that.

Roch stared at the wounds--looked at Cricket--then silently as a grave, moved forward to clean the wound that was looking pretty ugly on the dummy. He had gotten over his fear of ghosts for the most part...

But seriously, he was pretty sure he'd never get over his fear of Cricket.

It was the exact opposite of what he would usually do, he thought, frowning in concentration as he held his hand over the wound. He needed to pull, not push--It gave him a slight headache, if he was going to be honest. In fact he paused after the first second and summoned his guitar, slinging the strap over his shoulders so it hung across his back.

Then he reached down again, a determined expression on his face, and slowly started pulling at the FEAR inside of the dummy. It was faint, he thought, or maybe he just wasn't used to looking for FEAR outside of ghosts (which came natural, seeing as it was a natural ability.) There, he thought, grabbing it. Just a tug--

Slowly the wound under his hand was starting to heal. It wasn't that great a job, he knew, he would probably run into tons of kids that had done better--but Roch wasn't, by nature, a healer. That wasn't to say he didn't have healer aspects, his second FEAR ability was healing, but that proved the point. It was his SECOND ability, not his first. His first was doing damage. No, there were boils and ghouls (including his sister, he was pretty sure) that were born/created/whatever to be healers. They could brag about how fast and skilled they were with healing all they wanted, and he'd concede that they beat him with a grin and a shrug.

As it was, he was damn glad to have passed the first time he tried this class. It would come in handy, slow or not.
