((bare with me my rps are not the best but i am gonna give it a shot))

Marlow woke up in the forest wondering how long he had been sleeping. He slowly looked around as his stomach began to rumble. He shook his head looking around the trees where beautiful this time a year letting the light come in at the perfect moments. He jumped up into a tree, quietly listening for any sound of food coming along to be eaten.

Naela inhaled deeply the forest air. Shifting through the different scents, she picked up several new smells that had been through the area recently. Grinning, she took off in the direction one in particular went. It wasn't precisely that of a prey, but with her superior strength and size, it shouldn't be a problem. Tracking the large mammal, she slipped through the underbrush without making a sound. Every sense on the alert as she neared her target, Naela's ear flicked back as she realized the bear was not alone. Brow furrowed, she scented the air once more, and to her disdain found the she-bear was with her cubs.

Snorting fiercely, she shook her head. 'Ugh, of course the prey I pick has to have children. Wretched things.' she thought to herself. Readying herself, she scaled up a tree and crept forward to peer at the family. All was not lost; after all, she could always pick off one of the cubs to snack on. Luck was on her side, one of the cubs was wandering away from the mother and out towards her. If Naela could keep it quiet while she killed it, she shouldn't have a problem getting away without the mother finding out.

Marlow sighed as he heard nothing deciding to wonder more out of his area. Sniffing around he smelt something peculiar, wondering what it might be he followed it quickly but quietly. From a distance he can see the rather large bear but shook his head in disappointment, the sent he had smelt a few yards back wasn't anything like a bear. Although it would have been a great idea to let the creature be he still couldn't quiet figure out the sent he hand smelt. Quickly and ever so quietly he scaled the near by tree, going to the highest branch he could find.

Over looking land around him, he smiled wondering how big of a fool he was to try and take on this wondrous creature mother nature had provided him with. Waiting while pondering, he notice the bear was a female and was in deed with her cubs. Shaking his head he pushed out the thoughts of family, he knew deep in his heart that no one would ever love something like him or even close to something like him. As he sat on the branch thinking his thoughts he smelt the same sent he picked up on and wondered what on earth it could be as he looked around.
