Jericho teetered a bit in place after he launched his attack. It was hardly an efficient skill, it seemed. At least, with the way he used it. He needed a moment to himself to try and recover, but he soon realized that he had knocked Riley off her feet.

As tired as he was now, he ran on over to see if he could capitalize on this.

Unfortunately, he stumbled and just fell on her instead.

She'd been planning to surprise him with an attack when he came to check on her - or attack her while she was down. But she never got the chance. When she felt him collapse on top of her, her eyes opened wide, and she laughed, wrapping her arms around him in a big hug.

You are an idiot. She muttered affectionately, her head pressing against his for just a moment of peace.

And then she reared back and headbutted him. Hard.

Jericho just gave a sort of laugh as she hugged him.

And then the lights were out.

She felt him sag in her arms, and just laid there for a few moments, trying to continue to see the humor in the situation.

But eventually, a heavy dragon laying on her this long was a little much for her, and she crawled out from underneath him. Then she grabbed his body, and flipped him over, so that he was facing the ceiling. A quick check to make sure he was still breathing, and she stood up, standing between his legs.

All right, tough guy. Let's get you home. She squatted down, reached back for his arms, and pulled him up to her back. Her wings lowered and flattened, barely visible as she pulled him up by his arms, and stood. With a grunt, she carried him off on her back, all the way to the monster dorms.

You were easier to deal with when you were an elf.
