[INSANITY BATTLE 80M] Swallowed up... (Yuzhi & Anyone Else)

Yuzhi had cited to her brother that she was going out on her own to do some research, where she went was pretty much mumbled under her breath but she didn't exactly stop him if he decided to follow her anyways.

The small Conquest Scholar walked forward with grim determination to get a better look at the Titans and for a time she managed to get notes and everything gathered unseen. At least she thought she was unseen.

Until a tentacle had snaked its way up her ankle and calf, and she noticed just in time to be plucked up like a little flower. Yuzhi shrieked curses in Chinese the entire time.

The Devourer Titan was giving her a once over as she flailed and tried to get free. At the present she didn't have it exactly in mind to summon her spear and the next thing she knew? She was swallowed up without even being given the dignity of a chew or two. Most of the spines that made up the insides of the chewing mechanics pretty much missed her small frame.

Yuzhi wasn't sure if she should be relieved or upset by this happenstance as she landed in what seemed to be a semi-safe portion of some kind of stomach. It was dank. It smelled gross.

She wanted out.

Now.

Yuzhi summoned her spear and started stabbing about to see if she could get it to throw her up. If anything it riled up the acidic bile in the creature's gut, a bit of it rose up to get at her with intent to burn the soles of her feet.

If only she hadn't gone alone...

DEVOUR CLASS TITAN

Attack: Its long fast-moving tentacles will try to grab anything close to it and stuff it in. Very dangerous.
Auto damage: This creature does 10 auto damage a full round. * Since I will be RPing the creature this time you only need to take damage after each post/round I do. So folks post, then I close out the round with my post doing the damage @ everyone. That way we can have people not randomly dying or something. Rounds will take place once everyone got a turn in that wanted one. PLZ only attack once per round. thnx. Also plz keep track of monster HP, it'd help me lots and lots. <3

Tseng honestly was worried about his dearest little sister. He didn't openly follow her though, and kept his distance. He just wanted to make sure that she would be alright and all. Everything was going all fine and whatnot, but then it happened.

"AAAAAAH YUZHIIIIIIII!" he called out as he saw her being plucked up to be devoured.

"I WILL SLAY YOU, FOUL BEAST!"

His bow was summoned and he aimed up at the tentacled monstrosity.

"VENGEFUL ARROW!"

Ying, on the other hand, slapped a hearty hand against her face. Of course her bimbo of a best friend would wander into a Titan's lair. Of course they would have to save her.

Then again, Ying couldn't really talk. She'd been captured like twice now.

"Please stay still friend, we are coming to save you!!" Her bow was summoned in a shimmer of seafoam light, sending glorious sparkles onto Tseng. He would bask in her light.

More important was saving Yuzhi. Ying shot off a flurry of arrows, even quicker than she had done to save Aeron. This was her best friend okay. Conquest BFFs stick together.

Fear not, Imp, for Shik had acquired a workhorse--Initiate, so sorry--to come and help them out. It was hard to miss the flailing and all. And also all the shouting.

"You have the worst luck, don't you," the horseman muttered to himself with a little grin, less worried about her condition than he ought to be. Then again, it was practically bred in the bone for him to treat serious situations a bit irreverently. He cast a less enthused look at the zomboil. "Don't hold us back, corpse."

Mort said nothing; he learned that was the lesser of two evils when dealing with people like this executioner.

Shik flew in without batting an eye, passing a small wave to the conquest horsemen below as he navigated through the maze of tentacles. With a flash of the dagger, he sank it in and cut deep as he could manage into the incorporeal body.

Mort, on the other hand, was a little more reserved about a big beast with tentacles. The last time he came across something with long limbs, the claws had nearly ripped him apart. As Thor lit up in preparation, his other arm sizzled with energy as a few yellow bolts arced the distance. "Er . . . Happy t'help?" he mumbled to no-one in particular, feeling a bit out of place.

Shaheen was pretty much always flying around on this side of the portal anymore, searching for her next fight, testing her limits out here on her own, trying to control her insanity in an environment where it would normally thrive (and still often did if she wasn't careful), and absolutely not avoiding everyone why would she do such a thing that was silly.

It was pretty much impossible to ignore Tseng's booming voice through the fog, and by the sounds of it, there was some trouble afoot. Winging her way towards the sounds of a struggle, she saw the tentacle looming up out of the grey before anything else.

"Ugh, another one of these?" She moaned, more to herself then to anybody around, but probably loud enough for everyone else to easily hear. She hated the devourers more then any of the other titans, and very readily brought her short sword to hand, dodging tentacles and attempting to slash at it, but finding herself spending too much time actually darting around and attempting not to get hit to do anything else.

She vaguely heard voices on the outside of the monster as she tried to figure out a way out of her predicament on her own. Part of her was frustrated that she couldn't help herself but glad that there were people that had either seen her get swallowed up or ...

At least saw the creature and had intentions to end its life before it digested her. She hoped.

The Devourer was just waving tentacles around no care what-so-ever. People tried to hit it and all it saw was a bunch of little morsels to eat. These ones were bigger it seemed and thus it decided to work these into a more agreeable form.

Tentacles started to lash out to hit each individual that had come forward.

Ying took a tentacle to the face. A bright angry mark appeared on her cheek, a battle scar that wouldn't be fading any time soon.

"Ooooh!! You are going to pay for that, foul beast!!"

He heard shouting in the mist long before he could see much of anything. Mmur was on patrol alone, and while he knew he shouldn't be taking on titans by himself, shouting meant other horsemen, and running into danger when other horsemen were around was A-OK.

Flicking his whip ahead of him as he ran toward the sounds, Mmur didn't see the titan's tentacle until it smacked him off of his feet. The soldier remained on his back for quite some time after that, catching his breath or being knocked out or both.

Tseng took a hit from one of the tentacles. And soon after, he realized others had come to aid him.

"COME! WE MUST FREE MY LITTLE YUYU! FEEL THE PURITY OF MY RAGE, INSANITY!" he shouted out.

"THE ARROW OF MY FURY SHALL STRIKE THEE!" he added as he aimed an arrow right for one of the creature's eyes.

"Yuyu"? He had to snicker.

Shik hated tentacles. Really, they had no place on any beast this large, slapping him around like a fly. You knwo what was a good remedy to tentacles? Fire.

Cue his dagger flashing into flames as he sliced through several of the damn things with a vengeance.

"Imp, you better not be digested before we finish or I'll be very cross."

So very cross.

He passed by Shaheen and might have brushed her on purpose because hey look who was showing off again.

And then Mort tried to do a thing. The thing being shocking the crap out of this creature because ouch.

He still felt a little out of place, but the bolts he managed to send off made him feel a little better. Any sort of help would, at least . . .

Yuzhi could see that the monster was weakening just enough from where she stood on the inside and so she moved to the nearest wall within the stomach and stabbed it hard, she was trying to cut her way out with the point of the spear. This was going to get horrible and messy and she had to work fast because the stomach acid seemed intent on coming to get her. A generous amount splashed on her leg.

"OUCH!" She glared down at it with annoyance.

The monster let out a groan and possibly even something similar to a belch of discomfort. It swung tentacles about to try and hit everyone bothering it just then. Uggh tiny morsels were so troublesome sometimes.

Ying was growing tired of the monster's games. He needed to release her friend in a timely manner, and this was no timely at all!

She fueled her battle prowess with that anger, dodging tentacles left and right until she could get a shot in. "Please hang on Yuzhi! We are coming!"
