[EXAM] THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

Unfortunately, climbing down with two arrows in hand was harder than he predicted and TK slipped, his body clattering to the ground like the bag of bones that he was.

"Note my sarcasm." Clyde snickered, trying to ease off the tension a bit. This ride to whatever location they were going was nerve wreaking and what were they really going to do there?

The answer was thrown right at everyone's face as they were greeted by the professor. Welp. Time to get cracking.

He climbed a little, and looked up. Man, they were going to shoot at things up there? A part of him tells him it's not going to go too well...Let's hope no one gets shot in the knee.

Clyde climbed the rest of the way in one go. No use lagging behind anymore then he already is.

At the top, he couldn't help but stare at the bow and arrow a little helplessly. Some one is going to get shot at by accident...it's going to happen.

He took quite some time preparing himself before launching the arrow right through the target. Yes!

Clyde grinned.

Clyde climbed down relatively quickly, but not enough to reach the bottom. He eyed TK and winced when the boil made contact with the ground. That looked like it really hurt.

Clyde makes it to the ground in one piece, bow in hand. He winced again at the boil on the ground, "You alright?"

Conversation didn't drift among the four of them aside from a few words between the two boils, which Olivia was fine with really. Silence and staring, what she was more accustomed to doing with those she wasn't overly familiar with. And it was the others that had her attention when they came to a sudden stop and almost found herself on the floor - thankfully not thanks to proper footing and her few layers of skirt, she still jerked forward a little roughly.

She followed the others out, the last to exit the carriage as she was to enter it, and was greeted by a familiar professor. Her smile grew a little from the slight familiarity along with what was before them and what their task would entail; it seemed like it would be fun, regardless of what this exam meant (though, it seemed like they would be able to advance without a passing grade as it was, neat).

Olivia watched the others for a moment as they climbed up their first obstacle, once clear she made her own way up and skipped her way to the second part.

The second part seemed to involve firing arrows, which Olivia really wasn't familiar with doing - aside from getting shot with them, which wasn't very pleasant really. So, she fumbled a little with the proper set up and ended up overshooting the target.

Wow, the others were very good at it. ouo

With the second arrow in hand, the young wight gave the two objects a good hard stare before setting the feathered end against the stretchy cord (haha, we don't know proper terms). She had seen how the others did it, hopefully her observing ways would aid her with hitting the target; nevermind that it didn't help in the first attempt.

But perhaps it had; Olivia released the arrow after a good pause and managed to hit the target on the pillar just as the others had. The ghoul was rather pleased with herself. ouo

Regardless of the instructions to bring the bow and their remaining arrows down with them, the young ghoul probably would have done so anyways; pretty much because she wanted to keep it, hopefully maybe they could. So, clutching it tightly in her hands, she began to make her way down. Which proved a little more difficult at first than making her way up. Or perhaps she was distracted by the view which she finally saw (pretty!), or from TK's sudden fall (there was a very loud clatter). Perhaps that hurt....

And she would soon know how TK felt, well kind of in a way given her own tolerance to pain, but followed by example none-the-less. As with the next step down and a little bit of a wobble, Olivia lost her holding on the pillar. It was so sudden and quick that all she could utter was a cry of, "Aa!" as the ground came upon her sooner than expected, and not how she had intended it to.

Her body hit with a thud, her back taking the brunt of the impact and her bright blue eyes wide with surprise. ".... I fell." Olivia muttered with a wince, that had actually kind of hurt. At least she still had her bow and arrow though, unbroken and didn't puncture herself with the point ends. But still, ow. The wight didn't really move from her spot on the ground.

The students did surprisingly well, and actually made the tasks look easy... Malcolm was not expecting that at all. Making a mental note to increase the difficulty of everything, he gathered the students, and gave each of them his pin - a token to signify that they had passed the examination.

"Great job. All of you are now officially real men- I mean Hobs," He awkwardly gave a thumbs up, but quickly let his arm drop, "I hope to see you all in class some time... Follow the path you came-" He gestured at the road the carriage took; the tracks left behind by the wheels were still there, "-and you'll arrive back in school."

Apparently he wasn't going to join them on the walk back.
