Unlike their lighter cousins, the 'Dark' Paladin is considered 'dark' due to their selfish natures, and the fact they can fight dirty.

Natural Ability:
Merle Can turn her familiar into a bladed weapon for a short period of time. This doesn't change their battle stats or fears or anything, just the form which her familiar takes. It is not permanent. The weapon HAS to be bladed. Like a Sword, or a Dagger, or a Spear.




Personality:

Selfish- She wants to know whats in it for her sometimes, and tends to hoard things she considers 'hers' with a over-protective intensity. Merle tends to put herself first, only when she is guarding someone will she put herself second. Even then she might switch who she protects. (unless she was bribed to guard one person.)

Rage Under the skin- While she might seem calm, she has a deep rooted pit of rage within her. She does not show it constantly, but if pushed far enough she will let this 'dark side' show. It plagues her sometimes, but other times it helps ground her.

Selectively Protective - Merle is highly protective of those she thinks need it, have earned it, paid for it, or who she feels like giving it to at any given time. In the words of the all-mighty Maru guru: "UGH you little wimp. C'mere, you're now -my- personal punching bag and if anyone else roughs you up you let -me- know because you're -mine-, got it? Now c'mere, we're going to toughen you up with a couple practice punches."

Merle Was bullied herself as a kid, so she pushed herself to be stronger to be the sort of person you dont mess with. As a result, if she sees someone being picked on, she will defend them. Even if her choice could end up being the wrong one, she cant watch someone be kicked down if she can prevent it.


Follow The Code- Merle Has a mental code that she follows and WILL not break. *Honestly i am open for suggestions. This will probably start off small and maybe grow larger the more i play her.

* Defend those she sees as weak(Can be Hunters, Horsemen, Amity, or anyone really.) , Unless contracted out to protect someone specifically.
* Speak the truth, even if this truth is harsh and how SHE sees it. What she believes is true will be what she says.

Approachable: Through all her negative aspects, she actually is approachable. She will talk, try and be friendly. She just is not a good person and knows it.

Name: Marrok (She calls him dog or pup as nicknames)
Species: Ha-Inu
Personality: He Is a bit of a carefree spirit in contrast. He is honestly a bit like a puppy to everyone, always wagging his tail and happy to see you. In the end he listens to Merle when she commands something, but he frustrates her at times with his puppy-like ways.

Description: Basically? A blue and white Shiba Inu with Wings.


Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? It is a tradition for Dark Paladins of her clan to attend a school. It helps them learn discipline, and grow stronger.


FEAR Ability:

y1- Swift Strikes. Her familiar (be in Animal form or temp weapon form) lashes out to get a few good blows in.
