and eventually I'm gonna make a cushion-filled sitting area/curtained-off reading and crocheting fort in the little alcove~~~

It'll be quiiiiite a while before I get the alcove done, since I have to save up for loads for floor cushions and maybe curtains/one of those mosquito net things to hang from the ceiling. The painting and decals should only take two or three days, though, if I don't get lazy.
