Not rebuffed! What-what. "Heh." At least Taka distracted the man from whatever he was doing here. I mean, why would a gangster be hanging around a temple, if he wasn't looking for something in a soul-searching way? Sure, his tendencies to disrespect things were slightly out of hand, but he had made the journey all the way here from wherever his home was. Maybe Taka realized this with her recent enlightenment, which is why she avoided conflict with the lanky, soul-searching subject.
Up ahead, clanking men and women trudged up the steps of the temple, reaching the final plateau. Stopping and stamping a flag in the ground, others formed a line next to him. What was that... 3, maybe 4 there in total? "This Temple is now the property of the United Hidden Villages," an elder male shouted through this iron visor. The monks ignored them.
Taka would lead the man right outside the gate. She smiled a little bit as he walked over the threshold. She was respecting the monks law as to their being no violence inside the temple. A deep throaty growl came from her throat and her eyes shown with malevolence. She stopped though on hearing the clanking to her right side. She looked over to see a flag being planted in the sand and the monks not really caring. " This is your lucky day. If your not with them....leave NOW. If you are with them...well your still not going to want to stay around..."She said drawing a wafer thin knife and waiting for his reply.

The gangster threw his hands into the air, surprised. "Woah, kitty has fangs, me-ow." Saddling away to a wall, the lanky, greased up man leaned against it, wanting to enjoy watching a beat down. Nobody liked the UHV, nobody. Not even those from the seedy city of Gimangakure, which was still being occupied by their forces.
The man in the iron visor eyed the two folks having a couple's disagreement, before peering away at the uncaring monks. No resistance was good resistance, he thought. With the flag there, this moment would mark the UHV's first foray into a permanent settlement between all other villages. Signaling the three others in his squad, they moved back to the stairs, the leader staying behind on the temple grounds to admire the monks' view of the surrounding forests.
She would nod and approach the soldiers, not being sneaky or trying to hide much of anything at all. She seemed calm and non-hostile as far as her body language put off. " You realize your trying to claim holy ground...from a group of monks that can summon the actual buddah...and are kinda committing acts of violence against a place of worship and peace..."She said from roughly ten feet behind the group; where she decided to stop. She was wearing no sorts of identifiable markings and hadnt for years.

The only one able to hear was the senior, the man that was still left behind. The others were still descending the steps, their clanking and jangling drowning out further away noises, and soft speech. The old man stared down at what he perceived as a civilian. "Don't worry, Ma'am. As soon as the war is over, the shinobi are destroyed, and peace returns, the monks will be left alone. We're just here to let the shinobi know that we're protecting those that cannot protect themselves, and the chakra-less folks."
Taka sighed and nodded, reaching into her pocket and withdrawing a old picture, one that would never leave her. She kept ahold of it and shut her eyes, clearing her thoughts momentarily. "The UHV protect the innocent? What was this ones crime. She had never committed any violent act. Yet your people took her anyway early on. I have seen the uhv kill civilians in the past and this girl was no exception. The UHV have taken many things from me yet here I am, talking to you calmly, not trying to bite out your throat. Why is this? Because you are following orders? No there are sadistic officers among you too. How about you leave this land and come up with a more peaceful approach to all of this rather than trying to unify through destruction of the various military powers. People have tried this before and then they just...homes are destroyed because they can no longer defend themself. "She finished calmly put the picture away and pulled out a charred leather collar, marred by flames to the point it was only just recognizable. There was a charm that had been twisted from the heat hanging from it. "This is evidence of an innocent soul taken from my life permanently for no other reason but she was there. No chance given to leave. No chance to be peaceful, and my heart stricken in shards from a second of fire. She wasnt even shinobi at this point, she was a non-combatant...Just like I am in this case. What do you have to say with this evidence pushed right under your nose...?" She said, her body language showing she was just looking for answers. She, according to her words was either shinobi or was one at one point previous but she wasn't being hostile, in fact her face showed grief. Something inconsistent with her usual demeanor of hiding all emotion from her foe's.

The man in the iron visor kept silent, the slight shadows lining his face obscuring his reactions, until Taka spoke of shinobi. It was small, but noticeable: his back straightened, limp limbs now rigid, eyes transfixed, his hearing blocking out all words and meanings after that of the dreaded word,. Shinobi means chakra, and chakra runs in families. The girl has chakra, her siblings have chakra, her future family has chakra, the war will drag on for forever. The old man will die, never seeing his vision of a peaceful, chakra-free world. What was one or two lives to the plight of many? No, it must not stand, the girl shall fall to her own hand! Drawing his sidearm with his right hand, the kunai launcher fired a tight burst of three rounds, emptying its first magazine.
Taka wasnt a master at reading the body languages of people. She however was decent at it, and decent enough to know she was going to be attacked anyway. As the man stiffened her hand came to rest on her obi, near her fans and as the rifle came up, she moved straight past him at rather alarming speed. Her fans were drawn and open, a seal being slapped on the back of them that would then glow. The uhv would find that nothing they had could be turned on now, or off if they were already on. Taka doubted their shields were up unless they were directly in a combat situation but she would just have to see. "You know...I have never harmed an innocent or a person that didnt attempt to harm me first. I wanted answers and you react with violence...This is the end of you..."She said just loud enough for the man behind her to hear her, her head tilted toward him and watching his every move, fans gleaming in the light, specifically on the razor tips.

Duration: 5 posts. (seal was made in the ffight vs the uhv in konoha, source thread was the hospital and it never got to be used. Originally was going to trap uhv in hospital rooms with it and fill the rooms with boil release gas through the vents and just kill the lot of them.)

He had underestimated the little lady in front of him, by a grand margin of error. She was fast, which meant she knew more than she was letting on, and the lanky gangster over on the wall was just laughing. His personal protective battery glowed brightly, snapping the seal's effects off. Looking down, he realized that the bow line on his kunai launcher had snapped. Damn, it must have been too far outside the protection sphere. Tossing it aside, the launcher sizzled after hitting the ground, poofing away to parts unknown. Cooldown in progress. Evasive maneuvers, he recited to himself. The easiest solution? "Formation Bravo, soldiers!"
Taka had the pointman dirrectly in his back. The distance was almost nothing and she was now going for the kill. There was little to be done. Her fans tips glowed with her chakra, channeling her water element into the tips of those blades. Her stance shifted and she peaked her chakra in just the right way in the old teachings she remembered. An afterimage of taka would be all that anyone around her saw (unless they were sannin rank or higher!) and it would cut through the spinal column of the soldier as she drew a kunai with her summoning inscription and threw it hard and high into the air, the kunai disappearing from sight rapidly.

_____❶Akira Secrets: First Akira's Deceit - At this point in time, the user is brought back to the first stance. While in the first stance, the user compresses chakra at certain joints in their body, and by sporadically expanding and compressing these "bubbles", the user will move at 1.5 times their usual speed. To those of their own rank or lower, it will appear as if the user isn't moving anymore quickly. (Stat recap: taka is in akira of speed which increases agility for some reason but does so moderately. The ability used increases this speed by 1.5x or 150%. Plus her normal stats and whatnot.)
__❷The First Akira: Duelist's Swing - The user flicks forward their hand, fan in hand, before opening up the weapon, cutting the foe by pulling their hand aside, as if delivering a back handed slap. (Enhanced heavily by speed and chakra input into the reactive fans using water element. Target is severing the spinal column at any spot. Fan is already open lending additional swiftness to the strike due to step prepared. )

There are no other words to say, other than 'splootch', which is the sound of someone's spinal cord snapping. Most of the man's blood ran along the outside of the armor, though some continued to dribble through the fine creases at his heels. Wavering for a moment, he then dropped to his knees, and then to this visor. Blood stained the temple grounds. The others continued to run with their heavy armor, up the stairs as quickly as they could muster.
Taka flicked the blood from her fan and formed a few seals. As the uhv would likely reach the top of the stairs in the next second or so, they would just manage to see her disappear from view. Her chakra source would reappear at her kunai that had just begun its descent. She grabbed the hilt of the weapon and hurled it at the ground at an off angle, landing right in front of the greaser that had been talking to her earlier. Forming several sets of seals an acidic mist would form from the ground, specificly the stairs and the surrounding area. This was the disabling punch to her one two combo in this instance. She had a nice view while falling from above them and weaved the final sets of seals, inhaling and blowing hard dirrectly on top of them. She wouldnt hit the ground for a few more seconds due to how high she was. However due to her height a nice cone of flames would scorch the ground encompassing all of the soldiers making their way up the stairs and to where she was. The actual affected area would be quite large and she could hold this flame alight for quite some time. But she doubted it was necessary.

_____❶Futton: Yogoshijutsu [ Boil Release: Staining Technique ] - Producing a simple handsign, an acidic vapour fog will raise from the surrounding grounds, staining the Chakra signature of the targets within it. This stain can be felt by the target(s) as a heavy irritant which raises their cost of jutsu usage by five chakra, all while causing first degree chemical burns. Technique lasts for ten posts, & is stackable.
__❷Ryuuka no Jutsu [ Dragon Fire Technique ] - Katon • Ryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After binding the opponent, the Shinobi uses a guide wire to unleash a large torrential fire burst onto the target. Capable of being used like a flamethrower, prolonged exposure has been known to transform boulders and cliff sides into molten piles of magma. Genin can use the technique for up to two posts, Chuunin for three posts, and Jounin for five. As mentioned before, strength of the flame and prolonged exposure can prove devastating.

The gangster was caught off guard by the kunai throw, raising his arms back up over his head as it neared him. This caused him to become off balance as he leaned on the railing, sending him over into the thick jungle below them. A strangely hollow 'thunk' could be heard emanating from that peculiar direction. Back up on the stairs, the Futton stripped the shields of the grunts and was negated, while the Ryuuka enflamed the three. Metal may help in temporarily protecting one from fire, but the stuff underneath is still vulnerable!
Taka would cease her fire technique and shift her chakra to send her to the kunai via summon space. She looked around for a few and not seeing the gangster she decided to leave before her welcome was over. They taught her, she defended the temple. She felt this was fair to her. "If you ever need assistance, feel free to call on konoha..."She said just loud enough to be audible to the gate guards. She doubted the temple would ever really be in serious danger but she left regardless. She found her own path back toward konoha.
