Kaalia shook her head after she patted the pockets to her pants and sweater. "Chapstick." She murmured, shaking her head. "The last thing I remember was that I was walking home yesterday... it was day time. How could I-" She sighed irritably and furrowed her brow. "This is probably some sort of joke, right? Like, there are going to be camera's in the trees and our parents think they are being funny or something...." She squinted towards the forest and tried to see things in the shadows.

Walking off towards the part of the island that contained a low waterfall and a clear pool of fresh water, Lovec listened to the soft whistle of the birds' songs as they sang in the tree tops. Monkeys and other small animals could be barely heard chittering away as they began or ended their days. Squatting down, she cupped her hand and brought a palmful of water to her lips. It tasted sweet and fresh, cool on her hot throat.
