A personally written thank-you letter from Cindy Gold, the author of Sailing an Alien Sea, thanking me for reviewing her book on Goodreads, and talking about our love of New Mexico and my math/comp sci major (which I mentioned on my profile). =o That's so sweet.

Right? It makes it worth it to really put effort into reviews (I see way too many where people were like "i like this book main character is cool 5/5") when you get something like that in return. Shows it's actually read and appreciated.
