I got that game at a swap meet, but upon 5 minutes of playing, I could never get the hang of how its interface worked.
So, I ended up trading it in.

The Skylanders figurines, the Portal of Power, upgrades...it can get confusing

Ive never played it, I have contemplated whether to start with the dark versions but, just thinking of all the money I would use on figures is like @3@ maybe not. I know myself once I start something and if I like it I will put lots of money into it, so I sorta hold myself back from even trying it.

Swap-Force Dark edition (five dark Skylanders, and being a GameStop preorder, Lightcore Hex as well), was $200. The starter packs are about $60 each after taxes If you're worried about money, then you don't want this game, because you want at least one of all eight elements, at least one Giant in Giants, and then there's the Swap-Force characters. It can get expensive fast, but it's fun ou o And if you play with someone who knows what's going on, it's fun A bit silly/cheesy at times, but since it's 6+, it leans more toward silly o uo
