Job: College Student, does modelling for a few agencies.
Abilities: He's incredibly imaginative, far more than he probably should be, and as such, can get crazy ideas. He's an engineering student (not great at it, but he gets by.) He's also good with numbers and calculations, in addition to his crazy ideas.
Equipment:
D-Power Digivice- The Digivice that 'came' with DemiVeemon. It's a simple device well taken care of. It has a white base with a green grip.
Notebook- Essentially, a diary. It's a five subject, spiral notebook, and is the fourth of its kind. The green cover is starting to wear out from excessive use and transport, and is easily overlooked. It's got a little bit of everything, from the girly entries of who he has a crush on, to doodles, to mathematics, to theories, and even a few pictures he's taken stapled in.
Appearance: Look at picture.
Personality: At first glance, it's easy to imagine him being a flirty, eccentric type of guy. That theory, however, is the opposite. He's actually been pretty bad about being social, and usually prefers the quiet areas of life. The library, computer labs, math classes, just normal places where people tend to stick to themselves. Zero is very capable of talking, but unless there is a firm common ground, he simply resorts to small talk to get him by. Once you are his friend, he magically does a complete 180.
Zero becomes talkative around his friends, laughs a lot more, and pokes more fun at his friends, as they should him. He prefers to be with a small group of friends more so than he does being in solitude. He tells inside jokes, too.
Towards those who are enemies, or those he dislikes, it's usually far more passive. It's highly aggressive in his head, though. Once someone makes it to his s**t list, he very quickly picks out their flaws, nitpicks everything they do, and develops a very elitist attitude about them. They are inferior to him, and even if they aren't, they are.
As for who he is standalone, it should be perfectly clear to all those around him that he is a driven individual, stubborn to a fault. Persistent, and once his mind is on its way down a given path, it's not going to stop for anything. Failure and defeat have taken their toll, and he refuses to admit defeat... to the point where in a situation where he can try until he dies, or give up and live, he will try until he dies. Even if its a pointless effort.
Biography: Zero had a pretty standard life. Parents had college degrees, he lived in a pretty nice home, nothing to really make him stand out more so than the rest. Looks wise, was a bit different of a story. He was constantly ridiculed in elementary school because he was disproportionate. With few kids wanting to be his friend, he quickly found a love for the quieter things in life, and the things that are often sneered at. Mathematics, Photography, etc.
Middle school proved no different, too. Regardless, through it all he held his head up high. Nothing was going to bring him down, and those who made fun of his body size and at that moment, weight, could just crash and burn. He lived on the phrase "One day, I'll be your boss."
Freshman year of high school, he experienced first hand the crushing blow of love. He admitted to a girl he may have had a crush on her, and she laughed in has face. It was a huge hit to his ego, and suddenly, his former phrase just pissed him off. He wanted One day, to be This day. That summer, his body started thinning out, and his proportions came together to form what was probably the best combination for attractive. Sophomore year, his life took a dramatic turn, and no one wanted to make fun of him, but instead wanted to be his friend... and girls actually found him attractive. It gave him great satisfaction to laugh in the girls face who turned him down. He went through high school that way, turning down everyone who laughed at him, and as luck would have it, upon graduating, he was offered a part time modelling job that would take him to Lexington, Kentucky. Conveniently, his college of choice.
After moving in to a one man dormitory at his college (University of Kentucky,) he had an unexpected visit... his computer -which he had assumed his younger sister had put a virus on- froze up on him, he had an unexpected visitor...
Home: Apartment in Lexington near University of Kentucky campus.
Alignment: A good guy who follows a moral code of his own. The moral code tends to be on mostly Lawful territory, though on occasion it can drift into Neutral territory, and even more dangerous, chaotic.
Digimon:
First Encounter: It was a summer storm in his dormitory. Lightning was flashing, winds were blowing... a final farewell to summer as the fall semester was about to kick in. The internet was slow, no one was able to party, so everyone opted for the internet... it frustrated Zero to no end. He couldn't do much on the internet, and because he had gotten something weird on his computer (and couldn't be deleted,) his computer had gotten slower... and slower... until finally it froze. He got up and laid on his bed, fiddling with his camera to pass the time until his computer decided to unfreeze, or blue screen. That's when the digiegg popped out. Startled, he took a picture of it. No one would believe an egg popped out of his screen... to this day he doesn't even know why he took a picture. Following that, he poked it with his finger. The egg moved, and out popped DemiVeemon. Speaking to him and scaring him more so than it should have.
Extra Notes/Other: He has a close friend, Joey, who he skypes and calls a lot. DemiVeemon and him are treated as equals, and he's actually taught Demi a lot about mathematics, and Demi can actually do simple integrals and derivatives.

Inventory
Camera: It's not quite a professionals, but it suits him just fine. This Camera is a perfect spot for those who want to get artsy with their photo's, or maybe even sell. Zero doesn't want to sell them, it's just a hobby of his... and the digital world gives him something new to document.
Digivice: The Digivice that 'came' with DemiVeemon. It's a simple device well taken care of. It has a white base with a green grip. According to what he could scrounge up, it's a D-Power model.

Machete: Given to him by a digimon when he first arrived, its strapped to his thigh, and rarely leaves his thigh unless the situation calls for it. He tried going toe to toe with another digimon, but he quickly learned human bodies aren't meant to fight digimon. The handle is hollow, and stores an endless supply of matches (a side effect of the digital world.) In the real world, it's a regular machete with no matches.
Backpack: A convenient carrying item for his camera and notebook, plus whatever else he'll end up taking with him from his adventures. The digi-world converts the backpack into a storage device, and now, it seems to have a nearly limitless storage space. In the real world, it simply functions as a normal backpack. |
