13 year old photos?? o.O

My 13 year old brother-in-law was caught with an app on his ipod that is known to send and receive nude photos. He was resistant on unlocking his ipod, which makes us all worried that he might have nude pics of either him, someone else, or both. Regardless, it's illegal. He got his a** chewed by his mother and got his ipod taken away. He instantly called his father, so he might get his ipod back because his dad is that kind of divorced father to spite whatever his ex-wife does. My issue with this whole thing is that he doesn't know of apps like that unless someone told him about it. I know of one of his "friends" who would suggest such an app and I've never liked this kid since hearing about him. Basically, this kid treats lil bro like s**t... Degrading, abusive, cusses him out, and who knows what else. He chooses friends based of what he knows and the only male he's known is his father.

Shoot... His father... He's the kind of guy who would either beat the s**t out of his son for knocking up a chick or applaud it. If I'm correct, he would beat his son. I have no idea if he's okay with his son [possibly] looking and sending nude photos. *shivers* There are too many creeps on the internet who have a preference for my lil bro's type, so he'd be bat s**t ******** up if he was okay with it. He's more paranoid than I am when it comes to internet privacy...

I don't remember his ipod password. He showed me months ago and for all I know he might have changed it. I think I found a way to hack into the ipod and retrieve the file to unlock it. I have no idea if it'll work with this new update that happened. It's not so much for the sake of finding something on it, it's for the sake of not finding something. I know everyone would be happy to know that there's nothing on it.

And my fiancee wonders why I don't let him play the games he wants! He wouldn't know the ******** difference between abuse and just goofing around! My fiancee was all, "Just let him do what he wants. He's at the age where he should start choosing for himself." Guess what? We live just outside an area where 13 year olds are getting pregnant because they, "Do and choose to do what they want". Grr... I gave an example of a very inappropriate game for him to play, that being anything GTA. He mimics the games he does play. I just wish he would mimic Tomb Raider and be all, "I'm searching for the lost city of gold" or something T.T No... If he played GTA, he would associate that smacking a woman around is okay. His dad did it to his mom and sisters. My fiancee's response to letting him play GTA, "If he wants to, he should." D :< ******** that noise... He's not mature enough plain and simple.

Come to think of it, he was questioned long before his ipod about multimedia messages he was getting on his fone. if they were what i think they were and if he is sending/receiving those kinds of photos, it's been happening for far longer than we thought.

*shakes head* if you think letting him play GTA is bad, you should talk to my friends sister who lets her 6 year old play it...I am not kidding either, she's just really freaking lucky he isn't at school mouthing off to teachers and beating the s**t out of other kids to see the dollar bills pop up >.< but yea if your bro-in-law is that kind of kid where he mimics non-real life things, then yea, not the game for him!!! and if he's doing the whole nude pic thing and his dad bitches at his mom to give back his ipod, she should, but then she should turn around and say, if you get caught and go to jail for child pornography I am not bailing your a** out! or if you get kidnapped by some child molester, don't say I didn't warn you!

*shakes head* if you think letting him play GTA is bad, you should talk to my friends sister who lets her 6 year old play it...I am not kidding either, she's just really freaking lucky he isn't at school mouthing off to teachers and beating the s**t out of other kids to see the dollar bills pop up >.< but yea if your bro-in-law is that kind of kid where he mimics non-real life things, then yea, not the game for him!!! and if he's doing the whole nude pic thing and his dad bitches at his mom to give back his ipod, she should, but then she should turn around and say, if you get caught and go to jail for child pornography I am not bailing your a** out! or if you get kidnapped by some child molester, don't say I didn't warn you!

Lol right? I have yet to ask for the ipod but im scared to incase there is something on it. If there is then id speak up and tell bro about how illegal it is.

But at the all-boys school I teach, pornography is, as would be expected, a definite problem for us, teachers, to deal with. The school has stringent rules on it but boys will be boys. rolleyes And their parents aren't helping us fight much, either. Many of them allow their sons all sorts of freedoms with technology and plenty of unsupervised time to do whatever the fack they want. THAT, in essence, drives the problem at the school.

unfortunately, his father would have something to say about discipline. his mum would say/do something and his father would to the opposite because he can. we've already told him he needs better friends, but he insists that he likes the friends he has. honestly, there's only one i do like and he's a good influence. he did get his ipod back, which pissed me off to no extent. i was emitting hostile energy for most of the day. needless to say, i dont trust my bro-in-law anymore. for me, once someone looses my trust it's either gone for good or very difficult to get back.
as far as telling him stories, they'd go in one ear and out the other. he doesn't learn anything. his parents can get through to him, i barely can, and he doesn't listen to his sisters at all. it sucks cause he has a serious bedwetting problem and he doesn't want to tell the doctors anything. he wants to change, but like most kids his age, he wants it instantly. hes determined that pills fix everything. frankly, i can see him going down a very bad path and his dad isnt helping matters with his, "do this or die" attitude. bro is starting to get very annoyed with his dad trying to make him work, which i can give his dad credit.
