Those pushy halloweeners, the very ones who shoved her on the reserve with her clansmen, had also said and babbled some nonsense about teaching her the error of her ways. Or well, learning something from the academy. She was older than many of them and they wanted to educate her? On what? How to be scary? The art of leaving humans terrified beyond reason was something well perfected. Humans would cringe at the mention of the clansmen and the apocalypse they signified. So what would they try to teach her here?
Which was what brought her today. Finding out just what they thought they could educate her with. What she needed to know. Frankly, she wasn't the least bit impressed for the time being. All she'd been greeted with so far was a pamphlet being shoved in her arms by some fool before they ran off to throw more at people. Some of which... missed and ended up on the ground. Classy. She'd only made it around a corner before the disgust on her face became evident. Who would write such-
If this was what halloween folks thought, they were beyond saving. This spoke of saving, understanding, and even protecting humans like some precious little thing. It was absurd, pointless, and blasphemous. And it really needed to be properly destroyed. It was a shame she didn't breath fire, that would have been perfect at a time like this. So instead she had to suffice with tearing the pamphlet straight in half, no form of amusement on her face as she noticed a student leaning on a wall nearby. Specifically for the potential use. Wings? A tail? She looked like a dragon, she'd do right? But... why did she have one of those books too? "You don't actually agree with this trash, do you?"

By jack this ghoul. Poke returned Asteria's look with a raised eyebrow, which quickly turned to one of annoyance as the horsewomen lectured her on the evils of human kind and how they should be culled. She was amazed at just how much the other appeared to dislike humans.
"Oh." She stood up, walking over to Asteria with her own arms folded. "So what you're saying is, we should grab every single human, old and young, round them all up together, and tear them limb from limb them until theres none of them left. Is that it?" A pause soon followed, before she continued.
"What a load of ******** bullshit." Her tail lashed behind her, betraying some of the dragons inner emotions. "I've got better things to do then to slaugher women and children just because someone tells me they may ******** up the place. What kind of solution is that? Just ignore the fact they're sentient beings with their own feelings and emotions. Kill the hole lot of them." She stepped closer to the horsewoman, right until she was in the ghouls face.
"That kind of thinking just pisses me off."

Was she annoying the dragon? It seemed rather evident on her face and in her tone as she spoke up, but at lest she seemed to get the idea. A smile bloomed on the mare's face as she nodded. "Exactly, that is how a human should be handled." It was only just that they be exterminated before they could cause further harm. It was what was necessary after all. It was lovely that the student has so quickly caught on, even if her tone didn't suggest she agreed. At least, Asteria could say, that student understood the horsewoman's stance on this whole thing.
Though she could only shake her head a bit sadly at the students next set of words and behavior. Tsk, she really didn't know much of the world, but it was only to be expected. Poor, poor misguided children of halloween. Though even as the dragon advanced toward her, practically breathing down her neck as she finished the warrior only smiled, ever to knowingly as she shook her head. "I never said it was your job to do so." She waved a finger as if to chide her, still more amused than threatened. "It is a duty that falls to my kind, we'll clean up the trash. You merely need to understand that." She paused, the smiled lightly. "You can understand that, right? Or..." And she cocked her head to one side a bit, not giving an inch even as the dragon stood so close. "Would I need to beat that into your thick skull, child?"
poke mattix Edit: Actually I'd like to give you default to first hit(ignore rolls) since uh... how I ended seems like Pokerus really SHOULD take the first swing. It wouldn't feel right to attack /sobs I was hoping to lose this roll Please attack first.

That did bring something of a smile to her face. "So, then it is right to be angry if something precious is taken from you?" Perhaps she was just twisting words in a cruel manner, but the humans had taken much from her, and apparently they were not as helpless as this human thought. "The humans cared not for the age, or relation my kind may have before taking our homes. Is it not just then?" She mused, curious to how the dragon would react. She thought herself some valiant thing protecting the weak? The innocent. "Humans are far from innocent. Don't fool yourself." These students were so naive.
She saw it coming and shifted to dodge to a degree, but the punch still landed soundly on her shoulder, sending her back a few paces as the growl accompanied the pain. Well at least the students here seemed to know how to hit? Not that Asteria was going to sit and muse over it. Don't get angry, get even?
And with that in mind she shifted her balance before launching forward again with another punch aimed at the dragon. She wouldn't be so childish as to bring a weapon to a fist fight, but this foolish child was going to have to go down.

"Of course it's right to be angry! How could you not be?" Poke knew about things that were precious to you, but this went far beyond gold and gemstones.
And then the dragon was kindly reminded about how the humans had taken something precious from her. The four clan isles. Though she knew little about the actual cause of the explosion, she did know hunters had been involved. And as much as she wanted to stick up for them, she couldn't ignore this horrible act. To lose ones home like that would be a vicious lost indeed.
As she thought about the issue, her movements slow, and she was unable to dodge as a punch landed squarely on her chest. She staggered backwards, monetarily winded by the blow.
"O-okay, fine...some humans are assholes..." She coughed, straighting up as the pain passed. "But that still doesn't mean you have to right to judge them all evil. How does destroying their homes make it all better?" Her claws reached out to grasp the ghoul by the arm, then tried to pull her over the shoulder in a wrestling toss.
"two wrongs don't make a right!"

And there, she'd proved her point. Even as the dragon was having to accept that the humans had done wrong it was proven. That humans were capable of such wrongdoings. And while Asteria too was well aware that two wrongs did not make a right, she'd already been tasked with the disposal of humans as her birthright.
They'd merely added kindling to the fire.
A grunt escaped her as she was pulled from her feet and sent flying a few paces by the toss, though she quickly pulled herself back to her feet again, a wicked smile showing on her face. "It has been my right since creation." There was no hesitation in her voice as she stood again, briefly dusting arm off where a bit of dirt had stuck when she hit the ground before. "But they chose to anger me further, to anger us further. And with that I feel no reason, no need to pity even one amongst them. Even if it won't bring back the dead, I can look to their memories and not feel the guilt of one who survived." It was true, even if it had not been her fault, she'd lived on when they had not. As such it was her duty to avenge her fellow clansmen. To complete their given task.
"And that makes it right enough for me." And with that she quickly swung again, though found there wasn't quite as much strength in her arm due to the previous fall and landing on it. Tsk, perhaps another avenue of attack would be needed.
