[1v1] Physical Therapy (Sorrow + Zar)

[Toshihiko Two]

Sorrow was going down the full poster of stretches, and following the instructions for the four limbs set.

She ignored the six to eight limbs, wing, tentacle, tail, and ambiguous charts.

She pulled her arm over her head, counting. 10...11...12...

Fifteen.

It was actually pretty relaxing.

She perked up when she spotted another student.

"You here to train?"  

[Baneful]

Zar looked rougher than usual, dressed in the clothing he reserved for the gym, he had a few injuries here and there, covered up with various degrees of band-aids. He'd been fortunate enough not to be dissapated but unfortunate enough to have been dragged right to the brink of it. His features were just a bit more tired and drawn on top of it.

When Sorrow addressed him, his first reaction was to flinch, drop the small weight he was holding, and only just catch it with his bruised looking tail.

"Er. Erm. Yes. Yes. Training. That. Ahem. Yes I am here to train."

She pointed at the weight.

"I hear it helps to do cardio," She thumbed towards the gym floor. "You want to get some in?"

HP: 30  

[Baneful]

Sorrow got a long slow look. He knew what the word cardio originated from, knew its relations to the heart etcetera. But he had not the foggiest idea what it meant to do cardio. He neglected to mention this fact and instead carefully set down the weight with his tail.

"If you like?" there was something very flighty about his demeanour, very light on his hooves, as if set to run any moment. And the fact of the matter was that he was set to run at any moment, trust was not at the forefront of his abilities right now.

He made his way to the gym floor and stopped, dropping into an anxious battle stance.

Sorrow wasn't expecting the skittishness.

She gave him a swat anyhow.

"You feeling okay, man? You seem...out of whack."

[Baneful]

"I am generally for want of a better term, out of whack." Zar said nervously. "I would say I have even encountered an excess of whack from others of late. It may well be my problem."

And yet here he was, being hit even more.

He swung, a careful swipe of dainty talons, not expecting much in the way of results.

"Woah. Maybe you should like, cut down on people that are dealing out that kind of harsh energy."

She gave him a zen jab.

"Life's a journey man, you choose the paths."

[Baneful]

"Difficult to when they are my parents unfortunately." Zar sighed, before following up the sigh with a yelp of surprise as he was jabbed, surprisingly painfully by the ghoul. He rubbed his arm, looking rather pitiful in response.

"Also I wouldn't say that either, I have been rather pushed down the one path whether I like it or not."

He hit perhaps a little harder than he meant to in retaliation.

"Ahhhh, the rents," Sorrow said with the kind of wisdom reserved for a monster with zero rents.

She fell completely for the flinching.

Also this guy really packed a punch.

"Control is just like, an illusion. They can't have your mind, and that's like, the real place all the journeying goes on."

[Baneful]

Zar gave Sorrow a look he generally reserved only for Pickles. "Yes, I'm sure control is just an illusion. And they most certainly cannot have my mind."

He lashed out with his tail.

"But they can pull my legs off. Repeatedly."

"Wow, that's not cool for anyone."

Sorrow shook off the hit, shuffling and trying to find her center. Nobody she'd exercised with before was able to direct their energy with such direct force.

"For an upset guy you are like, really in tune with your feelings."

"I suppose." he said, measured and calm. "It is because I am used to bottling up what emotions I run into. And it appears very simple to uncork them in a beneficial direction when the opportunity presents itself to me. "

It was also an unfortunate fact that fighting and the associated pain tied to it simply felt good to him, regardless of his actual abilities.

"You can strike fairly hard yourself." he said with just a smidgeon of admiration.
