Strength. Stubbornness. Determination. He had all of these things and after a spurt of adrenaline fueled him forward he crossed the finishline.

The victory was small but the thrill of it wasn't enough to make him content. After a bit of rest he jogged his way onward to get to the nurse's office to check on Freya.

The day after her last encounter, she was determined to keep trying. Kettil had succeeded - and that was the straw that broke her back. She could not let this go unpunished. She HAD to best the beast.

So she returned, and off she went! No sense in not flying this time..

While she'd originally worried that flying was going to make her get electrocuted faster, it seemed to be working well! She zipped through unharmed.

Of course, slowing down was not acceptable even in the air. When she slowed to relax a little, the lightning singed her so hard she crumpled down to the ground, and was forced to run the rest of the way. Her wings surged with static painfully.

Things were actually starting to look up, even from the ground. She continued to scrabble along, jolting forward as fast as her legs could carry her.

The end was in sight once more! She could feel it in the air, just as she could feel that one last lightning bolt that came down, falling just beside her feet. She screamed in terror of electrocution this late in the game, and sped up, surging through the finish line and almost tumbling down the other side.

She'd done it! Kettil was going to be so proud!
