She leaned back from the slash, though it was mostly unnecessary as he seemed more intent now in driving her back then actually hitting her, though she was sure if he did manage to strike it would have been a nice bonus.

Hefting her sword, and keeping her distance for the moment, she considered her options.

And then she threw her sword at him because why not.

The sword throwing trick wasn't new to him, but he hadn't been expecting it from her. She hadn't seemed to be the sort, but then again, with the grey on her skin it was only natural that she was a bit unpredictable.

The sword embedded itself in his chest and he fell to his knees, grunting at the impact. More than anything he needed distance from her, had to keep her away while he got his feet back under him. He lashed out, but he could barely tell which direction to aim at

The sword was desummoned once it hit its mark, and then desummoned to her hand as she took the opportunity to advance in her fallen opponent. When her sword had been much smaller, a mere dagger in comparative size to what it was now, throwing her weapon had been much more common. Now, she preferred to slash and hack her way to victory, the swords size a bit much for treating like a projectile.

But it had worked, and really, that was all that mattered.

As she got close, his swing took her in the hip, but only with a shallow mark that she barely felt.

Standing over him, she slashed downward, hoping perhaps to end it, but not wishing to injure him too badly.

If she wanted to end their fight, she would have to do better than that. The blow caught him, but while it hurt he refused to back down. Not yet.

Still on his knees before her he drove his khopesh up, hoping to impale her. If keeping her at a distance didn't work, perhaps keeping her at close range could lessen her blows.

Well, that hadn't worked.

Shaheen made a mental note that if she should ever come face to face in battle with this one again, she would not for a second let her guard down, even while under the false impression that he was down and out. Stupid. So very stupid!

His weapon stabbed into her, low in the belly, sinking through flesh, her Fear shield taking much of the damage to save her insides though the wound was definitely deep, filling her with a hot and burning pain that had her gritting her teeth in a very wild looking snarl.

She was doubled over, but her fist still clenched her sword.

But then she dropped it, and leaned down closer, her body shifting further down the blade if he didn't remove it.

And then she head butted him. Really, really hard.

After his fight with Bao Yu recently, his face was still tender. Tender and the even War mare took advantage of him and dropped him easily.

His eyes fluttered shut, and as darkness began to seep in, clouding his vision, there was just one last thought on his brain.
