Jak groaned as he rolled over and felt the cold of the stone rather then the warm body he was use too. Shifting, he slowly lifted his head and glanced around. Just as he thought. The female who normally slept with him every night, was no longer there. Blinking he quickly looked around the den they stayed in. "Lizzie?" There was no reply. "Lizzie?" He called out a little louder and when there was no reply he quickly got up and frantically started to look for her. "Lizzie? Lizzie babe, come on. No cool." After searching the den and realizing she was no where in sight, he quickly made his way to the entrance of the den. He was worried that something had happened to her wile they were sleeping.

Elizabeth had been sleeping soundlessly most of the night until she was woken by an annoying bird. She had tried to ignore it most of the night. Of course that didn't go so well. Jak of course, slept right thought it. How the heck he could sleep through something so annoying as that, she would never know. Actually she just might ask him in the morning. After she took care the stupid bird. She ended up leaving the den and following the annoying chirp to a nearby tree. She tried scaring it off by growling and making all kinds of noises. As expected... it didn't work. That only made her more annoyed and angry.
He jumped out of the den, quickly looking around for the missing female. She was no where in sight. Well... No where close by anyway. He quickly looked around the entrance of the den for some kind of clue as to where she went. Her paw prints could be seen moving away and he caught her scent as well. By the looks of it, she hadn't been forced to leave. That made him feel a little better. At least he knew she wasn't hurt. He followed her scent and soon found here sitting at the bottom of a tree, looking rather annoyed. "There you are. Do you have any idea how worried I've been?" He gave her a disappointed look. "I woke up and you were gone."
