How did they join the Flight: Actively sought them out in hopes of her experience leading groups and striking terror to those who turn against them would get her a position of power. Apparently it worked.
Short Personality:Generally humorless and unamused by the antics and tantrums of her fellow dragons, Helka is a firm and often intimidating figure despite her petite stature. Her intellect often cuts deep, biting with a bitter cold, and even when facing the most fiery of tempers she is unflinching and controlled. What she lacks in Passion and Size, she makes up for in Command and intelligence.
Her cool temper s a stark contrast to the fiery rage of her superior, whom she faces on a regular basis, only capable of leaving the private cave Smaug uses as a Den a few times a day unless otherwise instructed.
Like Smaug, she has a soft spot for beauty and Treasure, though she finds beauty in Soquili uninteresting, interested only in what treasures they can produce, though she can recognize aesthetic beauty in soquili and familiars, and will thus inform Smaug of their existence so he could decide their fate.
Friends are not something she is interested.

xxxWhat skills/traits/ect do they have to help them with this position?: Experience completely commanding a group, commanding presence, unflinching, and a striking figure in appearance (making her good for speeches, being easy to spot against drab rocks, grass, even in the mines, creating a bigger presence from a psychological standpoint).
History: Before the Gayatahi Adawehi Artifact was destroyed, Helka considered herself a Pure Ice Suti, and had taken over a small territory with a gang of frightened suti and hippogryphs under her control. The Hippogryphs and Ulun'suti in her territory were forced to give tribute, and she was brutal and harsh when artificially boosted by the Artifact, freezing wings into uselessness.
And then, the Clearspring Alliance leaders finally caught wind of her actions when one of her terrified followers, a Shadow Suti who had been nearly crippled when he refused to hurt a Light mare who was rebelling against her, managed to escape with the mare he had protected, bribing the guards to let them pass. They sent their forces after her and imprisoned her for her actions.
However, when the Gigage Awoynei event happened, stealing away the force of their elemental powers and knocking out the majority of the Ulun'suti, the mare used all their sudden powerlessness to escape in the chaos, avoiding the hippogryphs who were focused on caring for any fallen Ulun'suti, and went into hiding. Her powers weakened, the mare discovered her icy powers were just that of a pure water Suti, an element she used to think of as inferior. Craving power, and with an experience in leading a group by force, she looked for someone she could work under the shadows of, have the strength while having a viable target for others to go after to let her escape.
Because of this she is loyal
enough to Smaug to defend him when the enemies are small enough of a threat to not overly risk her powers and follow through with his commands, reveling in the power she has over prisoners and the respect she has from the actual members of the Flight. Loyal members are appreciated, unloyal members get dealt with. She secretly prides herself in the knowledge that, should Smaug turn against her, she could quickly drown out the fires he keeps near him as a weapon and render him without an elemental ability useful enough for combat.
However, on the outside she is a loyal follower and, as the "Voice of Smaug", will often be the one most members of the Flight encounter on a regular basis.
Other info: Aplatonic, Aromantic, Asexual... Doesn't have any need for friends or Romance, and is unattracted to anything: Seduction and sex is just a tool for getting some form of Loyalty, gaining Rank, or creating devoted guards/servants/etc. Because of her position of power, she cannot canonly breed UNLESS Smaug assigns her to do so. All partners are approved by Smaug.
