	I have finished all the detail work on my scissor sword from kill la kill but I want to harden it without it cracking. Someone suggested I should fiber glass it before I paint but I'm looking for a less expensive option. This is my first time making a prop and want it to last for at least two conventions. Any suggestions? sweatdrop

	not how much your budget is but, I would suggest using worbla, its easy to work with and you can watch tutorials online (it can be a little pricey depending on how much you need)

	If you've already made the sword, you could experiment with plaster or paper mache. Paper mache pulp can be sanded down to be smooth, and will give is some stability. Know, though, that paper mache can get heavy.
