I don't know whether to marvel that they believe the texts literally like we do or shake my head because they missed the point (the living God, the only one who acts on behalf of his people, is the Holy God of Israel). Unless they never believed the text in the first place and are just looking for a way to cash in based on someone elses' belief :l
edit: assuming it wasn't satire that is.

This ... might just be the most interesting "news" item I've seen in over a month. Whether it's legit or not (almost certainly not), at least it's interesting.
As far as satire goes, well ... he is a columnist. "Satire" is almost a requirement in that field.
