even though they show up on my ignore list, I get an error message trying to add them and still get their announcements. :V

Yeah, you used to be able to do that, but they disabled it somehow a while back.

Yeah I definitely cleared out 10 announcements yesterday and upon logging in just now I had 10 more.

These announcements, and the lack of activity in here, are two of the main reasons I rarely log in anymore.
