Like a Moth

Even the palest light lingers in the mind
Alluring, warm, radiant
Forever glowing, calling.
Until our fragile consciousness is broken,
And then taken.
Drawn in too close, we burn
Victims of a Moth's Lullaby.

Vulnerable

A heavy heart ties me to my bed
A lost soul makes voices in my head
A broken body keeps getting scarred
Because I am nothing without my guard

Nearly Visible

I'm not invisible, but not opaque
The wind blows through me but I still feel its wake.

Hardly seen hardly heard
Inaudible- every word.

Always hidden behind this mask
Yet these questions I do ask-

What is this pain so deeply stated?
My conscience and I, we debated.

There comes an answer-one so radiant
I'm not invisible, just translucent.
