((Since my other crew memeber seems to have vanished...))
Eventually, after searching the entire museum, neither Veasna nor Tondra could find the lost princess. Time was running short, and the screams of alarm and shattering of windows had long faded. Besides their footsteps as they searched in silence was the howl of winds outside as the storm the ship brought with it drenched the island in a torrential and lightning filled downpour.
We can't stall any longer. Tondra said to Vaesna. We've searched nearly the entire building. If we have lost her... She sighed, before shaking her head. No time to think of that now. We need to get on the Erberus before we get caught!
She picked up a chair and headed for the nearest window. She smashed it against the glass, and the wind howled inward, blowing her hair back and soaking her again. She turned to Veasna and pickedup her slight crew memeber, before jumping onto the windowsill and perching on it perfectly as she looked down at the ship below. There was the shadow of the grand orb that she had ordered Viktor to load onto the ship, and the crew were milling about. Waiting. Tense.
The fall wasn't that much. And she could see the path of the winds. They would help catch her fall.
She jumped, using her strong legs to leap off and fall towards the ship. A gust of wind rose up to greet her, slowing her decent just enough that when she hit the deck she hit with a solid thud and a jar but no injury.
GO! She bellowed to her crew, as she strightened and put Veasna on his feet. The crew sprung into action. GO GO GO!
With that, the Erberus sailed off into the sky and vanished into the storm.
~A few hours later~
Tondra sighed as she stood atop her ship at the crew's nest. Below the orb's lines glowed and shifted in color.
She wasn't sure what to make of the thing. Was it some sort of bomb? Was it just something that glowed? Was it a weapon? What was it? Tondra couldn't tell. But it was her only lead on what had happened to Rachana. And she knew full well that Eureka found her and her ship with no princess on board that she would full well try to blow her ship out of the sky.
Either way... Tondra looked out over the sea.
Eureka was in for one hell of a fight.
