How much is the monthly fee btw? Also what are the various discs you can buy? Like Diablo vs a normal starter one?

Well I would suggest you download the free starter addition and play till level 20 to see if you like it and if you do you just go to blizzard website and download full game which includes burning crusade and the wrath of the leech king or ice king then the monthly subscribe fee is 14.99 a month the buying game part should be 20.00 bucks but if you want to buy the CDs I suggest going to game stop and their is also the expansion pack mist of pandora and the up coming warlords of dreanor

It owns me. I have been able to take a bit of a break since returning to gaia. Its causing me to fall behind in my goals though.

I run a small guild, raid lead and do most my socializing in Azeroth.

You can pay buy the month, have auto pay, or buy time from cards w 3 month installments. $14.95 I think yes- but I havnt looked in so long I dont really know.

World of Warcraft games-
Burning Cursade gives you game to lvl 60
Lich King to lvl 80
Cataclysm to lvl 85
AND the current game is Pandaria to lvl 90

The next expansion will be
Lords of D(something - Wolf posted it correctly) and takes the game to lvl 100

There are many aspects of the game, and there is something for everyone.
Leveling, Questing, Pet collecting, Pet battling, Achievements, Gold making, pvp, Raiding, Mount collecting, Cooking and other professions to lvl, Guilds

And Socializing.
The game literally never ends. There is always something to do.

Oh- to add-

The expansions tier, you have to own one before the other. If you only own say to Lich King (lvl 80) you cannot play content from the later two expansions. But you can play all content as much as you want in the expansions you own.

If anyone is interested in starting the game and waiting for a deal, when the next expansion releases about november ish- Warcraft will be really cheap to buy all in a bundle. I think when Pandaria released I think the prior expansions went for 5$
