♌ Astronomy NEWT ~ A
- Astronomy for Virgil ended up to be one class he allowed himself to slack in. While he still did well enough, he didn't put in as much effort as he used to. He earned an Acceptable as a result.
♌ Defense Against the Dark Arts NEWT ~ O
- Perhaps the one class Virgil expected himself to do well in was Defence Against the Dark Arts. As he had a really proficient user of the subject to study from, he made use of her to learn as much as he could. Thus, he was able to gain an Outstanding in this class.
♌ Herbology NEWT ~ A
- Herbology was one class that Virgil, after studying for everything else, didn't feel he needed to put as much effort into. As he was working to improve or keep up some of his other courses, he allowed this score to drop to an Acceptable.
♌ History of Magic NEWT ~ A
- Virgil found History to be interesting in school. However, he didn't find it interesting enough to continue to study as hard as he used to. Therefore, he allowed this grade to slip in favour of other classes to an Acceptable.
♌ Transfiguration NEWT ~ E
- Virgil worked hard on this class. He was trying to shoot for an Outstanding, but due to time constraints and studying hard for other classes as well, his grade wasn't as good as he had hoped. Therefore, he got an Exceeds Expectations.
Elective Classes:
♌ Ancient Studies NEWT ~ A
- After his OWLs, Virgil lost a bit of interest in Ancient Studies. He still did his work, but didn't put as much effort as he did for other classes. Thus his grade slipped to an Acceptable.
♌ Arithmancy NEWT ~ A
- Virgil wasn't as keen as he usually was in this class after OWLs. While he still did study and research, he lost interest. While he did well before, he allowed himself to slack to work on other areas, thus earning him an Acceptable.
♌ Ghost and Ghoul Studies NEWT ~ E
- Due to his past experiences with Gracie, Virgil gained a keen interest with vampires. An interest that did not wane when Gracie betrayed him. He studied hard, and was able to receive an Exceeds Expectations in the class.
♌ Wandless Magic Practice Class NEWT ~ O
- This was one class that Virgil excelled in. Having not wanting to depend on his wand for everything, he was able to master the skill with work. Thus, Virgil recieved an Outstanding in that NEWT.
♌ Wandlore Studies NEWT ~ E
- Virgil was a very attentive student. During his time in the class, he worked and studied hard, making sure he could get as much as he could out of the class. For that, he got a score of Exceeds Expectations.
♌ Wizard Law NEWT ~ E
- Virgil was very convincing in this test. Since he did so well during the class, it was easy for him to transfer all of his knowledge over to the test. Thus his score of an Exceeds Expectations.
