Andrew was only doing slightly better but his fear was running out. He managed to doge the worst of yet another attack and was trying not to concentrate on the wet dress or slippery heels. Instead he just created a fireball above his blade and lobbed it at the creature. there wasn't a lot of time to be checking on Blondie.

Ruth barely had the time to strike back before she was being forced to the ground. She desperately barrel rolled as each blade-like appendage sliced down where she just had been seconds ago. She didn't know how long she could keep this up.

He managed to glance at Blondie. She was getting tired. He was tired too. clearly she had used up all her energy earlier though. "Jack Damn it keep moving." he called to her. And partially to himself.

Easier said than done, she wanted to yell back. Every muscle was screaming in protest the more she prolonged the class. And she had to remind herself this was just a class, rather than actual life or death. Dissipation would hurt like hell but at least it wasn't permanent.

Somehow, she managed to get to her feet, her knees wobbling as she stumbled back.

"Come on Blondie."

The illusion turned him around and stabbed him in the shoulder.

"Oh Jack off!" he yelled at the stupid thing that wasn't his mother. He was a bit more worried about His companion at the moment than the annoying monster he had to fight. He lifted the sword fire blazing around and pass it with a larger arch Burning the thing almost to dust. It still had a little life left, nearly, and lost it's shape, turning to a smoldering monster instead.

Flames remained licking about his horns as his tail burned in irritation. He wanted to go help his companion but he couldn't even see what she was fighting.

Both Ruth and Blonde were in agreement. It was probably time for them to surrender and just re-take this jacking class a second time. Preferably on their own, without any witnesses to watch out for. She made a halfhearted attempt to fight back, if only for Andrew's sake. Ruth would have turned tail already at this point rather than letting the fight drag on.

Andrew made a final swing looking up to find.... Blondie wasn't there. "Jack." did she get kill? Well dissipated...

Then the world stopped. The music he hadn't even noticed dropped from the background. Well then... there was a strange object, and he picked it up. At least he was back to normal, speaking of back to normal...

"Blondie..." he nudged her. "Are you ok?" she didn't dissipate. He didn't know if that was a good thing.

Ruth gave Andrew a wry smile at his success. Somehow, she wasn't really surprised that he managed to pass. Blonde wanted to articulate her gratitude, Ruth was just irritated with her performance. With her last remaining traces of FEAR, Ruth gave a mighty swing just as she dissipated back to the blank, white room.
