STEP ONE

Cutthroat Kitchen

To get through the Cutthroat Kitchen, you need 10 steps. Roll 1d4 and add up the amount of steps you take (i.e. you roll a 3, that's 3 steps forward). You must get at least 10 steps. If you go over ten, that's fine, as long as it's at least 10.

Each number of steps rolled has it's own consequence:
1 - You open a door in the kitchen looking for the exit and promptly find yourself dunked by a bucket of icy water. Who left that there?
2 - You trip and fall into a vat of what looks like melted chocolate.
3 - You step in a pile of what looks like sticky glue on the floor and therefore get it stuck on the bottom of your foot/shoe for the rest of your trek through the House.
4 - For some reason, there is an entire bin of tiny bones that you somehow manage to knock over, which, of course, makes a terribly loud sound.

Siobhan was so excited! After a much too long stint as a Snot, she was on her way to becoming a Knob! The little banshee shrieked happily the whole way to the house. "Helloooooo????" She wailed inside, shrieking as the door slammed shut.

Oh... oh dear...

"I-is anybody here? I am supposed to be taking an exa-----ACK." Siobhan looked down. Something sticky was stuck to her bare foot. The banshee whined unhappily, unable to spare a moment to lick it off.

She decided to float most of the way for now. So gross!

"Hello? Oh goodness... maybe I got the wrong hou--" Not paying enough attention to her surroundings, she whipped her long hair when she turned her head too suddenly.

A loud noise echo'd harshly in the empty house. Siobhan shrieked nearly out of her skin, whirling around to see the damage done. A bin of bones had been knocked down in her carelessness. "ooooooh no good no good i'm so sorry so sorry..." She tried to whisper but it came out as too loud.

Siobhan desperately tried to pick up her mess, uttering apologies the entire time.

She tried in vain picking up bones. Too often she trembled, and knocked them down again. The banshee wailed and tried to flee from her mistake. However, she had her eyes closed as she sobbed. One misplaced step later, and she was tumbling into a vat of melted chocolate.

It was the happiest accident she'd ever made.

She spent the better half of her time getting out of the vat running the chocolate from her hair, and licking her arms and hands.

A door! Finally! Siobhan squish squashed her way over to it, leaving chocolatey foot prints and a long slosh of a trail from her dirty hair to reach it. However, an inhuman wail left her vocal chords as a torrent of icy water splashed down onto her.

COLD! It was freezing cold!

The banshee shuddered, curling into herself. Well... at least she was clean?

STEP TWO

Lurking Library

In order to get through the Library, you'll have to find the right combination of books in order to find the combination. Roll 3d6, and follow the guidelines below:

- 1,1 OR 2,2 as two of the numbers - Looks like you've found some sort of...oops better put that back quickly before a certain cranky Librarian sees you looking at por - (try again)
- 3,3 OR 4,4 OR 5,5 OR 6,6 as two of the numbers - You pull out a book, and then another, and to your relief you see that the door beyond swings open for you to slip through! (success)
- 1,2,3 (doesn't have to be in order) - Somehow you get entangled in what looks like a long rope made of paper and spend several moments trying to break your way free, when you notice that in the process you've actually fallen out the door into the next room. How convenient! (success)
- 6,6,6 Is that a giant spi - quick run for it - (start back in the first room)
- 1,1,1 You try climbing a bookshelf, rather than pull books trying to find the secret switch, and wind up tumbling over the side rather ungracefully. But hey, look, the...nope, just a shadow (try again)

Siobhan wandered the Library, dripping water everywhere she went. Her long hair weighed her down as it dragged behind her. She looked worse than a drowned rat. She randomly picked at books, wondering what sort of code was necessary to bypass this room she was endlessly stuck in.

Finally, she saw something she actually cared to look at. A magazine! Siobhan loved magazines! She screeched happily, flipping it open only to find...

"O---oooh my...." Siobhan blushed a brilliant blue and threw the magazine across the room. How obscene!!!!

Siobhan pulled a book labelled something about catching a boil's attention, when suddenly a door popped open. With a ghoulish shriek, she flew through it.

"FREEDOOOOOOM!!!!"

STEP 3

Bloodcurdling Bedroom

The Bloodcurdling Bedroom requires only one thing - picking the lock successfully to get through the door on the other side. Roll 1d100. You must get above a 65 to have successfully picked the lock. If you roll below, then your attempts were unsuccessful and you have to keep on truckin'.

Lock picking? This would be easy! Siobhan often lost the key to her diary all the time! But then again, rather than pick the lock, she usually just took a bolt cutter to it...

OH WELL!

Siobhan took some bolt cutters from her... hair? And snapped that lock in two. GENIUS!

The little banshee strolled on out of the House with confidence. She'd earned this victory!
