Ah, this was so very illuminating. Alistaire was quite enjoying himself, and he strolled around the space they were in as though they were conversing about something as mundane and commonplace as the weather. He supposed he should have been more on his guard, but it was quite clear that this fight was nearing its end.

"Like Frankenstein and his monster," said Alistaire with interesting, tapping a finger thoughtfully against the side of his face. "What a curious parallel between the two. Ah, but I see cowardice has reared its ugly head, has it not?" he added, as the creature spun around and ran, bolting from the room with the speed of someone immensely intent on getting away quickly. Alistaire pondered for a moment whether to go after him.

But he decided not to, because there was little point. With a soft hum of amusement, Alistaire desummoned Grimshaw and reached up, tapping a finger against the pendant he wore around his neck.

"Til next time, then."
