With the minions gone, Ruth let out a silent exhale. She had to psyche herself up for the boss, and while she did so, she started to check through her outfit. She realized that despite transforming, this time around, she had her skellphone.

She brought out the device as innocently as she could and there was a very brief flash of light and the audible click of the phone's camera function being used. She flailed her arms, pretending it was all an accident that she just so happened to have the lens pointing at a certain flame demon's posterior. Skirt, butt-bow and all!

Andrew took a few deep, clamming breaths after the fight when he heard an audible click. he turned wondering what was going on. What was the ghoul trying to do with her phone, take a picture of the boss? He hoped it wasn't his attire. He really did not like it.

"Now isn't the time for that Blondie.... unless you are trying to take selfies with the boss?"


He turned ready to go. After the last time, this would be a breeze. He wasn't scared anymore.

Ruth fumbled with the phone as she tried to return it to her pocket, relieved Andrew wasn't going to try and singe it from her hands. She wasn't interested in taking a picture of the boss. She doubted it would show up at all but she didn't want to risk having a remembrance of it. And she was clearly still having issues because her swing barely balanced out against the creature masquerading as her Superior.

She stumbled backwards, searching for Andrew's heat, something to ground her in this reality and remind her that this was just a classroom.

He tried to stay close to her. It was hard though. Especially with this thin this not mother of his. It was the same. He hated that. Why did this nightmare follow him?

Andrew did not want to come back. He wished he could be better use protecting Blondie this time...

It wasn't easy, not the first time and not this time around either. Too much resentment, too many emotions she had to pretend didn't exist and ignore. She should probably draw from those, but the sight of her parents who worked together easily as two individuals now fused as one was... making her wish she could go back to those minions.

Couldn't she face Andrew's thing instead? She wouldn't be able to see what it was but she doubted it was any worse than what she had to face.

Andrew was possibly wishing the same thing. He wanted to face hers, if they could trade he would. Especially as with it splashing water everywhere. "Jack." he mumbles to himself. It was not his mother. His mother was back home still on fire. His mother didn't have that many hands.

She tried her best to fight back, really, she did. She tried to remind herself this was just a class. That she wasn't alone on this. She was going to be alright. She was sticking to the persona as they ordered, wasn't she? The persona took over, weakly holding the pipe and swinging limply.

"Blondie! I know you can do better than that!" Andrew swung his blade in blatant irritation. he did not want to have to do this again. His tail burned. and was he getting better in those heels? Maybe.

Andrew's voice jerked Ruth back into the controls and even though she was starting to succumb to her injuries, she rallied back. With a grunt, she jabbed the end of the pipe sharply before a wide swing struck at her pseudo-Superiors with ear-ringing force. Just for that, Andrew, she is going to jealously guard that picture of your butt on her phone.

Yeah that was better. But as Andrew accessed the damaged it looked like she wouldn't make it. Her chances were slim as far as he could tell.

"Damn it Blondie, just hang on." he tried to go to help her but during that moment he dropped his defenses and got smacked into the air by his own problems.

The wild swing left her too open. She couldn't bring her arms back round fast enough to properly block and it was all she could do to keep standing. Yeah, clearly she was going to have to take this class a third time.

Jack damn it you stupid thing leave me alone!" he would never say that to his mother but it was not his mother. Andrew channeled a fireball through the blade and launched it at the thing.

It was all or nothing at this point, and hearing Andrew's voice and the heat radiating off of him, well, it was what she needed at that moment. She wasn't really up against her parents, though she felt this was being portentous or whoever designed this class had amazing ways of tapping into one's subconscious. She would like to meet them and promptly beat them with her steel pipe.

But right now, Ruth dug deep, bringing out every last ounce of her FEAR and pouring it into her weapon. It started to shift in shape and size, intermittent movement, never static, and finally she brought it down on the Boss. There was a tremor from the impact, the force shaking up and into her arms but Ruth held firm.

Of course, the impact also displaced air, causing her skirt to billow upwards, revealing her shorts and her named monogrammed on the clothing's posterior.

Andrew watched as she did her finishing finally. It was pretty impressive. She seemed to have cleared the boss anyway. Right up until he spotted shorts. What?

Andrew tripped on the heels and just landed on the ground. He was not expecting, so not expecting that.

Was that her name? Or just the name of a brand or something else? He didn't even knooooow.
