"The prison is dank and decrepit, as anyone might expect from an abandoned place.There appears to be no souls in sight. That is, save for strange little mobile creatures of metal with glowing blue runes on its body. These seem impervious to your attacks. Best to avoid them for now."

gaia_crown [ MISSION ]

There's a small outpost stationed at an abandoned prison on the island of Coiba. Only one hunter resides within, but we have found that this outpost is heavily guarded by their runic technology. We believe this hunter is there to develop their technology further to eventually bring back to their home base. This cannot be allowed. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate the outpost and slay this hunter. Destroy any prototypes you find as well.

gaia_crown [ MECHANICS ]

Roll 1d100 to navigate the prison. Before the boss phase, player hunters may come around to engage your horsemen. This base supposedly only has one deep within, but it isn't impossible that one or two may come by to check on his progress and to make sure everything is fine.

1 - 20 : You find nothing but empty cells.
21 - 40 : There appears to be a pile of scrap metal here. But no hunter to be found.
41 - 60 : A light shines upon you. As you look towards the source, you see a small red light before you're suddenly assaulted by a barrage of some sort of projectile. -5hp
61 - 80 : One of the little metal creatures finds you. It makes some sort of strange noise and you soon find more of them appearing at your location. They attack! You better get away quick. - 5hp
81 - 100 : BOSS ENCOUNTER - Tucked away deep within the prison is the lone hunter, working diligently with some metal and wires. He doesn't seem to notice you... yet.

Please apply these bonuses based on your clan:


• Famine: +10hp to max amount
  
• War: +3 damage
  
• Death: +2 to your roll at the 'sneaking up on the boss'
  
• Conquest: For both the searching and battle phases, you only take 3 damage instead of 5.

Soren had no idea why he was being sent on a mission dealing with technology, but for the Clans he would do it. In all honesty he was merely happy to go to the human world on an actual mission, ready to stretch his legs and revel in the death of humans. The mission was technically one he could do on his own, but he could easily take someone along, and there was someone he had seen little of in recent changes. Someone that could probably benefit from his company, because who wouldn't.

So he asked around until he located the small mare, approaching her with no regard to what she was in the middle of doing. "We have a mission. Saddle up."

Siska was very busy Soren. She was so busy, she was laying across a bench with her head hanging upside down off the edge, looking very bored. Busy.

She snapped up when he approached and nearly leaped off the bench. "What kind of mission? Where are we going?" She fixed and tightened her clothes and armor as they walked, looking like a tiny anxious puppy next to Soren.

Honestly Soren hadn't expected that reaction from her. For a moment he felt almost guilty, because it was obvious that Siska...had no friends. That was the best explanation if she was that eager for Soren's company. They had never (and would most likely never) slept together, so even with his confidence he hadn't been expecting her to be so gung ho.

He slung an arm around her shoulder as they walked along. "Panama. A hunter's out there." A smile lit his face as he mentioned the human. "We get to kill him."

The fact was stated grandly, this was a gift really. Taking Siska along to kill humans. He was the best. No wonder she appreciated his friendship.

Siska grinned as they walked together, but her face quickly fell. Of course they'd be killing a human. That's what they were about. That's what Medea wanted them to be about. Right. Funny how when they weren't allowed to kill humans it felt like a sleight, but when they were required to kill humans it felt arduous.

She pasted on a smile, trying to keep up appearances. "Just one hunter? Sounds like a foal's task. Too easy."

Soren nodded, completely in agreement with her. "Can't argue. Thought you might want to get out of the tower." He'd offer her the kill on her own, but he was too interested in bringing the hunter down himself. If they made it a competition it might even be more exciting.

They had reached the portal opened for their task, and Soren nodded at the horsemen guarding it. "I'll go first. Make sure it's safe." Because even though he might not say it out loud, he did care for the small mare. Enough that he wouldn't risk needless harm coming to her by having her go first. Without waiting he strode through portal, blinking, stepped into the sun. There was more to see, than could ever be seen. More to do, than could ever be done.

Just ahead of them was an abandoned building, a prison if he had to guess by the walls and fences in half ruin around the place. But no immediate danger.
