Hey, so there are a few Pokemon that have different coloration for Pokemon of the same species. To name a few (if it's not all of them - I'm not sure honestly) there are Flaebe, Vivillon and Prisimillon.
Do the different colorations come from the evolution weather/area, or capture weather/area?
Also, how can you tell which ones are shiny and not just different colors? Especially with Prisimillon with all those different colorations.

For Vivillon and the Flabebe family, "shininess" changes a different part than the regular color variation (ie, the body color, not the wings/flowers). So you can have a Modern Vivillon with a white body, or a yellow flower Florges with purple legs. Wormadam seems to be the same. ...Shoutout to millions-of-variations Spinda, which recolors the distinctive patterns when shiny instead of just redoing the feet or something. @u@
Most species don't do that though. Shellos (East/West), Hippopotas(Female/Male), Nidoran (♀/♂) and Frillish (Female/Male) have separate shiny colors for each type. Meowstic(Female/Male) uses the same palette for both shiny genders, though they keep their unique eye colors.

For Wormadam changes the color of the black body, same as Burmy, but the cloaks should stay the same for shiny or non-shiny.
