Another cake wad sails through the air to splat against the dark nymph again.

Freedom! At least, out of the magic circle of death! She had beaten it! Triumphed over evil! Won! Fought the great fight! ....... Or so the skeletal green nymph had thought. In the midst of another chanting ritual, pae only knows what this time, her one good eye managed to catch a gimps of cake flying through the air......straight for her face.
SPLAT~
"ATTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!" she screeched, flailing her arms around as cake dripped all down her face and front. "The banshee's! They mark me! I am siren fodder, doomed, DOOMED! RUN HEATHENS. RUN BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!" she cried as another wad of cake smacked into her, flailing and dancing in a mad circle before dropping down onto all fours and growling like a dog.
A flash of blue with a scent of orange flew towards Zaden. It hit her in the head, possibly knocking her over. It seemed to fly away.
It returned, but boldly stopped right in front of the bluepink demon with big horns. The dust settled and a little critter with curly orange zest stared her down. One one clean motion, it jumped up, smacked Zaden and took her cake. Keeping eye contact, it devoured the cake in two bites.
It licked its little paws slowly, not once taking its eyes off Zaden.
Uhm, maybe she made a friend?

A little tornado of midnightblue and wafflecone spun around Flutterby, trying to disorient her.
-*bonk*-
A little gumdrop flew from the tiny whirlwind.
The cake disappeared in the commotion.
Once the lil whirlwind settled, there was a little long-eared critter sitting with its back to the teenager, nibbling on her cake. Once the cake was gone, the critter looked over its shoulder, looking so sad that the cake was gone.
Maybe Flutterby will feed it more cake?

Just after the second scoop of cake found its target on Dosvidanya, a little green ball charged out from behind the cake booth. It stopped in its tracks, skidding to a halt when Dosvi started growling at eye level. A little green critter with big whipped cream hair blinked twice then started licking the cake off Dosvi's face.
Was it purring?
I think Dosvidanya may have found a friend.

Flutterby grinned, happy that she had won a cake like her mother. "Th-tha-Thank You!" she exclaimed, rushing up to collect her prize. So awesome, she couldn't wait to tell her family about this! At least, everyone but Rose. Rose would probably make fun of her for being excited about cake. But it was cake, who didn't like that sweet pastry?
But then cake started flying everywhere! The teen laughed, trying to dodge her way out of the flying pastries. "Cake Fight!" she called, turning her attention elsewhere for just a moment. And in that moment she was pelted with a gumdrop! Or was that a little tornado of something? Whatever it was, Flutterby was down one cake and looking at a long eared thing where the cake had been. Or was still being consumed.
"Oooohh!" The teen cooed, momentarily relieved of her stutter. It looked so sad! Flutter edged forward, holding out the gumdrop to see if it would possibly cheer the little guy up. Only to be shocked when he snapped the gumdrop up like it was the last remaining morsel of anything sweet on the entire island. "G-g-g-oodness! You re-re-really like sweets d-d-don't you?"

Zaden had just taken a few small bites when something ran into her HARD. Her arms flailed trying to keep herself upright and barely managing to do so. Her head turned side to side trying to figure out what had just happened. Then she saw it, a small creature with floppy ears that looked just like her.... It jumped up smacking her and stole her foodstuffs.. HER foodstuffs that she'd worked hard to earn... And then before she could even react it gobbled it down in two bites and calmly groomed itself..
Zaden blinked twice, and then launched herself at the creature with a bellowing yell at the top of her lungs. "DAMYUTHATWASMINESFOODSTUFFSYOUMEANPEST!" she screeched as she flew at the little cake thief.
The creature bolted away from her and Zaden landed on her face stopping barely a moment before she chased after the thing trying to catch it by that damned pink frosting tail that only served to irritate her more. She kept her battle yell up until she finally managed to catch it... barely and she started to shake it upside down as if doing so would get her back her yummy foodstuffs.

A little gumball bounced out from behind Bree's cake counter and stopped in front of Twinkleshine.
-*POP*-
A cloud of pink powdered sugar filled the air in front of Twinkleshine.
Once the sugar settled, her cake was gone!
Another gumball bounced towards Twinkleshine, but this popped immediately and something small and soft hopped into Twinkleshine's hands.
The sugar settled again to reveal a little chocolate-curly-Q topped critter sniffing for more cake in her arms.
Twinkleshine made a friend!

Twinkleshine gave her daughter a round of applause when she won a cake too; sure, some might think that two cakes to take home might be a bit much for a typical pae family, but this was a fauny's family we were talking about. A fauny who loves sweet's family to be exact. "Good job Flutter--" her words were cut off as a cloud of powdered sugar seemingly exploded just in front of her.
Then another.
And then this small, adorable creature was sitting in her arms. So-o-o cute! Holding it out, the fauny couldn't help but coo at it. "What's your name~? What are you~?" No answer (obviously) save for some sniffing. "I know! Let's call you cream puff." She turned, noticing that Flutterby had one as well. Once she made eye contact, she grinned and put a finger to her lips as if to tell her to keep this a secret from her father until it'd be too late for him to argue.
